Good way to get around the park, with stops in Main Street, Frontierland, and Toontown. Fun Fact: the trains were built between 1916 and 1928 in the US but put into service in Mexico as freight trains.
Transportation Ride Only, I have seen a lot of train rides, I still believe Silver Dollar City has the best
The WDW Railroad is great when you either need a break from all the walking or when the park is very crowded and you need to get to another section of the park. There are 3 stations- Main Street U.S.A., Frontierland (Between Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain), and a station in Toon Town. The train closes when the late parade starts.
Good way to get off of your feet for 20 minutes BGW has the best train.
its a good way to get around the park and to rest your feet
Yeah, the scenery was lame and insulting. So what? The train is a form of transportation. If you want scenery ride something else. However it is possible that the ride would be improved by letting everyone go in SILENCE. Then you COULD take a nap in peace.
I dont ride this for entertainment. Some expect entertainment on this ride. Yea there are a couple of noises and Indians you pass but I mainly use it as a mode of transportation. I thank Walt for taking all the lazy people with fat butts into consideration when making the parks.
As probably my favorite railroad type ride in the world, the Walt Disney World Railroad is a nice break from the busy midways of the Magic Kingdom. Its especially nice when it goes through Splash Mountain and past Big Thunder Mountain Railroads sinking mine town. Unfortunately, the Indian scene is a little...whats the word...tacky.
Zzzzzzzz...... Oh, sorry. Fell asleep there. Of course, I was then awakened by the assault of the super-loud music from Pocohontas that they blasted as you pass through a really lame mock up of a native american settlement.
only used it for transportation and is good after alot of walking
