I remember when I rode this ride when I was seven years old and I loved it! Its cool that the operator can crank up the speed of the chain lift. Every time the rides being ridden, the operator should always keep the speed of the chain lift way up. Theres some nice pops of air on the bunny hops. Another plus is that the boat ride goes under the track. A great way to introduce kids to air time!

The High Speed Thrill Coaster is one of the best kiddie coasters I have ever been on, but wasnt that great when I rode it. Located to the right of the main entrance, the High Speed Thrill Coaster is surrounded by the Motor Boats. With black track and a white 12 seat train, this Overland kiddie coaster has an oval shaped layout. The High Speed Thrill Coaster had a 5 minute wait when I visited Knoebels. Unfortunately you cant wait for a certain seat like the front. I got the 5th car. Restrained by a black lap bar, Knoebels dispatches you quickly. Beginning the ride was a slow climb up the very loud lift hill. After the curving first drop, we traveled over some small bunny hills barely making over the last one and then curving back into the station. The next 2 laps had the lift hill at the same speed. Finally came the 4th lap where I found the lift hill was really cranked up allowing the train to get considerably faster than the previous circuits. However, the back seats didnt get any air-time. Overall, a decent kiddie coaster thats very loud. I recommend this ride to anyone who wants a credit or enjoys small coasters.

I think I got stuck on HSTC. I know I got screwed: not a single high five The ride was ok I suppose, I actually liked the curved first drop, and the neck-snapping bunny hills, but I just didnt "feel" the ride as others have. I didnt have a great experience, though the four or five laps was nice (still not 30). Its an ok kiddie coaster, one of the better ones, but I came away a dit disappointed. I wish that Ron fellow was there...

When I rode this junior coaster I wasnt disappointed at all. It has little hills but if you ride it at night and the operator cranks it up you get alot of air time. Its a must ride for an enthusiast. It needs a paint job however. It is a steel sit down roller coaster. (Junior). It was built by Overland Amusement Co. in 1955. It is 18' tall, it is 300' long. It is fast, fun, rerideable, it has a large capacity, and a long duration.

This ride actually gave me a whole lot more than what I had expected of it. I was a little hesitant to use my tickets on this one. I was with my little cousin, so I asked him if he wanted to ride this rust little contraption. He said yes and we walked right on. Wow, was I surprised. It is one of those great surprises that you find at parks like Knoebels. It is like a hidden treasure. It was fast and actually more thrilling than what Whirlwind was. It may be old and it may be small and it may be rusty, but it is definately something that should not be passed up. It was definately fun and brought out the little kid in me. You absolutely blaze past the station, well, a lot faster than what I thought that we would go, but still. It is just something that you have to experience when at Knoebels. It just screams what the park is about. The only thing is, it really needs a paint job. It is just getting really bad. Usually I dont mind a little golden oldies look, but it is just getting pretty bad.

Best damn kiddie coaster Ive ever been on. About the same layout as many others but when the operator cranks this up, you can actually get some good airtime. Its kinda cool how it goes over the boat ride too.

maybe i just got the lamest operator ever but this was weak. i got four laps and it wasnt that great. i was very disapointed. also im wandering why dont they paint it the scenary looks nice but the ride looks like it belongs at the fair. i will try it again since i respect the opinion of several people who rode this but this is the best i can give it for my first experience.

I have ridden this ride many times before but just never came around to reviewing it until now. And what can I say, I loved it! Its actually faster then it looks. Its also pretty loud which is a good thing as it adds the the experiance making it almost intimidating! The only thing keeping it from being a 10 is because my stomach kept raming into the safty bars at the start of the chain lift, but was still fun!

The best kiddie coaster I have ever been on. Very surprising first drop and pop of airtime. Its got great speed (when loaded with many adults) and I love the scenery around the coaster

Like everyone has said, dont let this fool you. The second hill will give you a great pop of airtime.
