This ride is just fantastic. Just like everyone else cant say to much. The old time feel is nice, the biuilding is also very cool. I agree better than disney, because of the historic feel.

Absolute genius. I cant say too much here - I dont want to give anything away, its that good. The use of older Pretzel cars adds so much to the experience - and the stunts - God, the stunts are amazing. The ride is kept in beautiful shape, as are all of Knoebels, and I really cant think of any finer example of a relatively new dark ride. This takes the old, time-honored spirit of Coney Islands Spook-a-Rama, and lifts it to an even higher level. Truly a marriage of old-world approach, and modern-day technology. Absolutely awesome. Just watch out for "the moment", as we dark ride lovers call it - I nearly peed my pants!!!

Great dark ride. I hear they replaced Monster Mash with the Halloween theme song. Thank goodness! I was starting to get worried. Um, well, I get scared on this ride. All I want to say is, everytime I get to that...part...I still scream. I dont know, that must mean a great Haunted House!!

Nice ride... pretty much perfect. Everything, and I mean everything, in this ride will scare you. That bus made me jump like a foot... you cannot miss this ride at Knoebels, because youre journey would not be complete.

A very good Dark Ride. Good special effects and the ride last pretty long. Alot of suprises and sometimes can be scary! A great Haunted House!

Great news! They have finaly got rid of the monster mash song in the floating skulls room! This completes this haunted house, which in my opinion is the best of its kind in the world. Not to scary, but a very fun, enjoyable experience. Small children may find this too scary though.

I hate to just mirror what everyone else has said but its hard not to when this IS the best darkride Ive ever been on. The first time I was on it I was extremely terrified on what was going on in that first large room the pretzel cars take you through. There was loud bass heavy Bach-ish organ music playing from some phantom of the opra-esk figure in the center of the room. As you made you way around the room youd be suprised by tricks grabbing at you which worked very well as your attention would be focused on the organ playing prop. The room of skulls was also very excellent however in recent years the park ruined this stunt by playing the "Monster Mash" in this room which wrecks the vibe completely. The goal of such rides is to project total fear and when you lighten the mood with the "Monster Mash" you might as well turn the ride into an "Its the Small World" clone.... I mean really.. Its LAME! I hope since my last visit they got rid of the "Monster Mash" soundtrack.... If I wanted some Mash Id watch M.A.S.H. or perhaps Id put on a jungle record with MASH(ed) up amen beats. The rest of the ride was a class act. To sum it up Id say the ride (minus the MASH) is like a collage of every thing that WAS cool about the darkrides in WildWood, NJ and now THAT is a good compliment I sincerly wish that parks and piers would try to build new darkrides that are as classy and good as this one... Just _dont_ hire the Sally Corp. to build it.... because they would be totaly down with the Monster Mash as comedy is their specialty Slightly off topic, I really wish Sports Land Pier in Wildwood, nj would fix up and operate their "Horror House" geisterbahn. It sports classic Bill Tracy stunts and if ever fixed up it could actually rival the Haunted House of Kenobels.

Completely done in house, This is one of the best dark rides in the nation. The effects work and the ride is well maintained. I particuarly liked the operator asking a question and if you replied right you got a second ride for FREE!

Simply the best dark ride in the world. Unlike Disney, it is totally open and uses Pretzel cars, not some high compacity convayor, you dont see the cars in front of you. All of the stunts work, and there are a ton of them, many are very well conceved (cant give it away). This is a must ride.

THE BEST dark ride out there today!!! You will never find another ride like the Knoebels Haunted Mansion :-D
