An average out and back wooden coaster. The ride features a long layout through the waterpark which is kinda neat, but can also get rough in spots. The airtime is good, but since its an out and back it really needed to be more centered on the airtime. A bug plus, however, was the helix at the end, which was awesome and to add on top of that, they threw a tunnel on it which was very cool. With all things aligned, the Minebuster will get a 7.
The Best wooden coaster at Canadas Wonderland. Yes it hurts sometimes but this ride is pretty long and great fun.
The Mighty Canadian Minebuster is a wood O&B roller coaster. It is 103' tall, it is 3,828' long,it goes about 55 mph, it is a good out and back coaster that has alot of hills, helix, and tunnel. It uses the space very well by the water park and it gives you a nice view of the water park. It is fun, rerideable, it has a large capacity, and a long duration.
Used to be a killer ride, but its been hampered by roughness over the past few years. Re-tracking has done a little bit to help it. Still a good ride, however.
i love this ride! it was my first real roller coaster and still my favorite. it has lots of air time and great speed and hight. dont hold ur hands up it takes away from the experiance, i tryed the once hands up and once holding the hand bar and when i held the hand bar it was better feeling. like most of the best roller coasters at wonderland there is a small build up of speed before the main drop which maks the drop alot funner. and the helix is great in the tin cave cause there is shaking due to the coaster being a woodie and a loud screaching noise thats awsome. the wait for the copaster is long but if u go during the morning/evening then there is minimal line ups. it is not the best coaster in the park cause there are to many unique coasters it shares #1 with many others. i would like to give it a 10 but thats reserved for rides like ttd and mf
Still with the reprofiling (still dunno where) its still good!
Ouch, that is what I said when I got off. While I love a wooden coaster to be a bit rough, this was a little extreme. The trains tracked horribly, bounching back a forth on the rails. On the plus side, it did hove fairly good airtime and a great location going under the water park slides and paths.
i thought that this was on of the best rollar coasters in the park. the first drop was the best. every year i go to canadas wonderland and every year i no i will go on this ride atleast twice.
awesome coaster i dont like some woodies because of roughness but this one was good
Highly recommended! The classic out-and-back has a place in Canada. This coaster has the best airtime of any other Canadian coaster I have ridden. There are camel-humps galore!
