On okay Arrow Looper, the themeing out front is gorgeous ... but the ride leaves alot to be desired. Not as big as THE VORTEX (at PKI) and not as well themed and fun as THE DEMON (SFA), so it pales in comparison. Not rough or painful at all ... and a great coaster to start the day out with, but dont ride expecting any kind of thrill .. just fun.
My first Steelie, I think I was 8, and its still one of my favourites at PCW
Not a bad ride. Just gotta learn how to keep your head still as to avoid the banging.
Decent beginner looper, and a good "welcome" piece [since it sits at the front of the park].
im being nice by giving this ride a 7 rating cuz i wanted to give it a 6 or 6.5 ..anyway..there isnt much to say about it. its not an exciting ride except for the first hill, then 2 back to back loops then thr 2 corkscrews. its a good ride to start ur day off with or for people who are just getting used to roller coasters and u wont wait cuz the ride is never very busy only 5-10 minute wait. sometimes when its raining and no one is waiting to go on next they let u go on over and over again without stopping, i went on 5 times before ..anyway, its nothing new here that u probably havent been on..to put it in short.. hardly no wait..good for beginer roller coaster fans...good ride to start the day off
I like these kind of rides but I can tell this one was just designed for the loops and corkscrews. but it was pretty good anyway
A real headbanger. Sort lines
Early arrow loopers havent aged real well, but this is better than many.
I give this ride a 6 because yes its not the most thrilling ride at the park, but the line is usually empty, so you can basically walk on the ride, and it has a good first drop. Its a great ride for those people who are starting to get into the more thrilling coasters. Its simple, and it has 2 nice loops after the hill, so its a good start coaster.
Its a good warm-up right. Its near the entrance, and isnt that rough of a ride. Short hill, a few loops, not too fast, but not too slow. Sort of like the sentimental favourite.
Dragon Fire is a early arrow looper. It was so popular when it opened in 1981, but now you will see its a walk-on all the time (except on holidays and packed weekends) Dragon Fire is pretty short. There are 2 loops and 2 corkscrews aswell as a upwards helix at the end. The first drop gives some nice air (especially in the back) Its not bad, but fairly slow and short. IMO There is no head banging, but the corkscrews are a bit rough. I ride this everytime Im at the park.
