The Jungle Cruise is a fun ride to rest your feet. It has some nice scenery and the animatronics are well done. The overall theming is good and the atmosphere is pretty authentic. This is one of those rides where the whole experience really depends on the actor. If the actor is good the ride is a better experience. If the actor is bad... well... youve still got the scenery.
Is it worth waiting over 30 minutes? Probably not. Its a pretty good ride but Id suggest riding it when the lines are short.
Will the kids like it? If they are into animals they just might. Just be sure they arent scared of crocodiles or hippos.
So, all in all, a decent ride and definitely one of the classics. I give this ride an 8 out of 10.
Classic ride thats fun. Tour guides are funny. You have to love the fake animals.
Fun classic ride with Disney written all over it. This is very humorous ride with a short wait. A must do at the Magic Kingdom.
This ride always puts a smile on my face. It has always been a walk on for me. Sure the jokes are corny and the animals are cheesey but it is a true classic. I still remember this linefrom the guide from the first time i rode it (age 7 about 7 years ago) "People if you sit on a broen seat you will get wet and if you sit on a white seat you wont. If you cant find a white seat find a person with a white shirt to sit on. (All the seats are brown and you dont get wet)
This is a pleasant enough boat ride with animatronic animals and corny jokes. I was going to rate this a 6, but Im giving it an extra point because the queue was so well themed. I do think it is time to upgrade the animals though.
I really liked Jungle Cruise probably because we had a guide who really enjoyed her job (or something!). She was very enthusiastic when telling her speils and the kids especially loved it and reacted well. Nothing terribly special about most of the aspects of the ride but it was done very well and was entertaining for all. Still cant believe it was the longest line of the day though
Our guide was very weird. He said he worked there because his plane crashed. Overall this ride was very interesting
The Jungle Cruise, which used to be my favorite ride as a child, is great for all ages. The scenery which is noticeable while waiting for the ride, and the scenery and on the ride itself, is simply astounding. After many years, the ride is still very enjoyable. Although the animals dont look as real as they once did, they are still very detailed. Young children who love animals probably would love this ride also, but they might get a little scared when the boat travels through a dark cave. During your cruise, you see everything from poachers to local tribesman to rare animals. Kids and adults always come off the Jungle Cruise with smiles on their faces.
My guide on this ride was so funny. He made the ride for me. The ride it self is just ok. I do like looking at all the fake animals.
I agree...I mean yea its a pleasent boat ride and the skipper might be funny. It can get a little boring after a while but it is still a classic created by Walt Disney himself.
