Have been on both Space Mountains they are great
Great coaster, but they took out the music. I loved that music. Now that it is under refurbishment until 2005. We should expect to see some good things from it.
One of the best Disney rides ever! I loved it! So sad that its closed; I cant wait until it reopens! The ride was of course not the most thrilling, but it was still great. I loved every bit of it!
Pretty cool ride. Normally, I HATE roller coasters, but this one and the other two at Disney (Matterhorn and Big Thunder) are pretty much the only ones Ill ride. Thats because they seem more like fast fun rides than roller coasters to me. We rode this 7 times the last time we were there! Once the operators scrwed up and didnt stop the car at the exit gate on time, so the car went past the gate and they had to run us through again! He he! Lots of fun and something that shouldnt be missed if you can avoid Disneys insanely long lines!
I love this ride. Great theme. It is much better than the Space Mountain at Disney World.
P.S. Forgive me for giving this ride a 7, I just rode it yesterday and remembered how awesome it was!
I can not give this ride a bad review. this has been one of by favorite rides since the first time i went. The theming is great. A must if you have never been on it. Dont ride it more than 3 or four times. It get boring. Keep your head against the hard plastc headrest. Else you leave with a headache
This used to be my favorite ride ever when it was younger because of the themeing, videos in the queue, and the music, and the coaster in the darkness, but when I went on it recently, there was no music which hurt it and it wasnt as fun as it used to be for me. Its a great ride for younger people looking for thrills, but it just doesnt do it for me anymore. But its still a good coaster in the dark because you dont know whats next at all. Good ride, might not be worth the long waits Ive seen it have before though.
Its not too much fun. It has some excitment to it, but more anticipated action than what it actually gives. The lights in the beginning are really cool, then the ride just goes downhill.
In rating these coasters, it is impossible to look at them as just "roller coasters". They have been designed and themed to present an idea or fantasy all wrapped into a great ride. Space Mountain succeeds on every level. The theming is impeccable, the operators are efficient, the ride is high capacity. The ride itself is smooth and thrilling utilizing helices and banked turns as oppposed to big drops and airtime. Understandable in a dark ride. Not a crack of light permeates this ride and the effects, though rather simple, cant really be improved upon. It is worth noting that this Space Mountain is significantly more thrilling than its Floridian counterpart. Although the WDW Space Mountain is quieter and embodies a higher degree of theming, this one one ups it by delivering a great ride. Perfection!
This is a good coaster, a must when you visit here though. The right turns kept on hurting my shoulder, otherwise it would have been a 10.
