A 40 yr old ride is still getting this much AIRTIME and Im not talking about the type Apollos Chariot causes
Let me start off by saying, I certainly do not think that this ride is worthy of a 10, but I do believe it was made for the kids, and I do believe they will enjoy all the bright colors. Its really something to see.
As for me, I give it a 4. Its not murder, but I certainly wouldnt go on it over something like Space Mountain, or even Jungle Cruise for that matter.
Why is it that I always find myself riding this ride everytime I go to Disneyland. It is sort of a sitting duck for any TV show or comedian that wants to make fun of a ride...but I like it. It defines disneyland. I think that song could go in the book of world records for most catchy...even people who dont speak English end up singing that song under their breath. Sometimes I wish Disney would find a new way to transport people through rides other than a boat...but I guess this ride would suck if it were by tram. One time when I rode it the sound went out and everyone on the ride decided to fill in the words and sing for it. Another time someone decided to lean over the side of the boat and it felt like it was going to flip...but instead we just caused a wave that rocked all the other boats. I have been on this so many times that I have had many different escapades on it...and for the many adventures it has offered I have to give a 9.
Kind of a dinky little ride but a classic. I remember riding it when I was little and I like to ride it whenever I go to Disneyland (which lately has been more frequently than ever for some reason, since I live nowhere near California or Florida). I was a little disappointed when it was closed for renovation the last time I went, but no biggie.
Its time for an overhaul. This ride looks worn down and dated. I love the outside, but inside lights werent lit - dolls didnt dance and, muchlike the world we live in now - everything wasnt rosy and bright. A major disappointment.
Not a good ride for kids ages 7and up. It is my sisters favorite ride.
All the ladies and the kids seem to dig this ride, but I never knew and will probably never know what the big deal is.
I give it a ten for kids, cuz i think it was made for them...wait hold up the whole park is 4 kids, so y u ppl give it a bad rating when you knew it was gonna be boring n e ways? I mean cmon people its disney world think about it once!!
I really HATE that song! I didnt mind it so much before the ride. Whats next The Mumbo #5 ride?
