The moving theater is the best part of the show. But then again unique stuff like this is what sets Disney apart.
I suppose for an original Walt invention its very good but it has lost its ride appeal which is why they are very seriously considering its closure.
it is wonderful how disney kept the same family and showed how they grew up with technology and age.
Classic show but always seems to be 10 years out-of-date even after they update it. Nice and cool inside when its hot out. Sort of amusing at times, cheesy at other times.
This ride is kind of corny but I still enjoy it. The theater is one-of-a-kind. The whole theater revolves around the stage. It takes you on a tour of home technology from the turn or the century to the present. Good show to escape from the heat. Worth seeing at least once.
State of the art when it opened but a little cheesy nowadays - still wonderfully warm and innocent despite this. Most of it has held up remarkably well considering the concept is well over 30 years old. Always makes me smile ...except for the last segment - the modern age which is hopelessly out of date already and lets the rest of the show down.
Having ridden this ride at Disneyland when I was a kid, I cant say enough about this ride. I loved it 30 years ago and I still love it. A few years back I dragged the rest of my family onto the ride, by son and daughter for the first time, and the ride broke down in the 1920s. The scene repeated about 10-12 times, over and over while we just sat there. For me, that was heaven. For the family, it was hell. This ranks right up there with the Hall of Presidents as far as I am concerned.
I hate this ride! This is the most boring attraction I have ever been on. The only reason I think its interesting is that Disney may have never existed without this ride. A classic created by Walt, I personally just didnt like it.
When they kill this show, Walt will roll over in his cryogenic chamber! Not fantastic, but one of Walts babies. When this goes, they better find something new for the rotating theater. Disneyland demolishing theirs was a sad day.
im not a u.s. resident but i liked it alot ... nice classic "show"
