Its an okay attraction, but I wouldnt go out of my way to do. I appreciated it a bit more when I went on it when I was in my later teens rather than when I was 12 and went on it. Didnt Walt have a huge part in this ride actually? The song actually REALLY annoys me, and typing this I hear it in my head now. Gahh. One thing - that family dog must hold the record for oldest dog in the world. How much did he age? 60 years or so? Something incredible
A neat look into how people live at the begining of the century to today.
I rode this in the mid 80s, and I thought it was really nifty. I would love to ride it again, just for the old-school feel.
I thought this would just be for the kids, but I actually learned some new things on this one. I hope they continue to update the newest decade - some of it is already out of date.
A history lesson....Walt Disney thought of this for a Worlds Fair (Not sure which) and it was originally sponsored by Pepsi at said Worlds Fair. For its time it was very original. It still is considering the whole set of seats move and the last scene has been updated with most of the latest items that arent still readily available. Its just cool to see how people lived back before the Internet and even Elctricity!!
A nice way to get off your feet for awhile when at the Magic Kingdom. It is a fun and interesting show. It is neat to see what Walt Disney thought the future whould be like 30-40 years ago. Has a catchy tune and should be seen once if it is open when you are at the park.
Not supposed to be exciting but it is very cleverly done. Every time i ride i worry that it will be the last time. Disney should just leave it up some parks act l;ike every ride should have a 2 hour wait. its nice to get on something with no line.
I always enjoy a little break from walking and this is a ride that does that and entertains you a lot!
The Carousel of Progress is a delightful helping of nostalgia and information all in one. It features a well-crafted tune that is so catchy you will remember it when youre dead. And best of all, theres hardly ever a line..
Oh I hate to give a highly rated ride a negative review, but when I last rode this I found it extremely boring. Maybe since it was reopened it is better, but my grandfather fell asleep on it. It was interesting, but just not my cup of tea in the exciting department.
