Im not a big fan of wooden coasters, but this one was my favorite. The cars were padded nice so it didnt feel too rough, and the twisty drops are intriquing.
Roar was a little bumpy, but yet comfortable enough, and was an enjoyable wooden coaster, its one of the best!
Pretty good ride. Very fun. For a woodie anyway. They did a good job on the trains with dealing with that wooden roughness. The sides are padded pretty well. So you will not get hurt on this. Its a good thing they did that as its a twister and make some really fun turns and twists. A must ride, but that will happen anyway since theres only 6 coasters at this park.lol.
Great fun woodie with a couple moments of air and some great twists and turns. Probably my #11 coaster, just barely missing my top 10.
This is a great wooden rollercoaster, i like everything about it. It is just not as good as Ghostrider.
Excellent woodie, the best in CA! Loved that tight twisty drop!
This is a great wooden roller coaster. I dont think this coaster has a stright piece of track in it. The tunnel is great because it gives that feeling that your fingers are going to be chopped off if you stick youre hands in the air. The little ride to the lift hill is great because it starts off with a little excitement. Overall a great roller coaster.
This ride didnt really scare me i was very disapointed with this park...go to PGA its a hell of a lot better....it was bumpy and it was a forgettable woodie just like Cyclone in SFNE
This coaster is wild. It is quite rough, but it is still very fun. The trains really feel like they are out of control. The first drop is vrey nice. The coaster dosnt feel as fast or insane as Ghostrider, but is still quite wild. I would have to say that Ghostrider was better, but Roar is still a great woodie and a must-ride at SFMW.
Too bumpy and isnt fast enough
