A true disney classic...i luv this ride! you cant miss it! its one of the more thrilling rides at disneyland...

My opinion of Thunder Moutain has really, really gone down in the past few years. Its a cool ride with amazing theming - but its also kind of a 3 minute torture train. The past times that I went on it, I got pretty beat up on it. Last summer when I was there they had a sign it would be closing for refurbishment in September or something - I really hope that they worked something out with it so it doesnt hurt so much. It turned from a fun ride - to a painful one..

I thought that this ride was very cool, but it was not very intense. I got no airtime during the drop cuz it kept twisting, but the twists and turns were really fun. As expected of a Disney ride, the theming was amazing. I especially loved the landscaping--the skulls were a nice touch. It was pretty cool when you nearly missed some boulders while going through that tunnel. The best part was at the beginning when you went up the hill and at the top, you got sprayed by water. IT was a great beginners roller coaster, but i wouldnt reccomment it to thrill-seekers. A nice coaster, but not worth waiting three hours more than once.

A true Disney classic, great theming and a rather fun ride if you sit in the back. Not very fast but still very fun.

Great Classic Ride! Better every time you ride it. A decent woodie that every member in the family enjoys. If I were you I would hit this two times in a row every trip to MK.

BTMR is definately worth riding once. Only once. This is a kind of coaster that is great for kids because it has thrills that an 8 year old would love. For someone older though, this ride is good because of the scenery. Its cool how when you go up the lift hill the whole train rocks, giving you the unsafe mine ride feel. Overall, the dips and turns are kind of cool but the ride doesnt seem worth it if the wait is too long. It is definately a ride worth riding, though.

Probably the best mine ride Ive been on almost entirely due to the theming. In true Disney fashion, the theming is incredible and really gets you in to the story of the ride and it hasnt gotten unbearably tcky over the years like many other rides at Magic Kingdom. As for the ride itself, the pacing isnt amazing as its relatively slow and divided by two lift hills. If you were to build this ride in another park without theming, it would have a slight resemblance to a longer version of Ripsaw at Camp Snoopy. Overall, for the theming and lack of other thrilling rides at Magic Kingdom, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is an absolute must ride for any trip to the Magic Kingdom.

Eh, its just an ok ride. If you have never been on it you should its worth at least one ride. The theming throughout the ride is quite impressive. The line is usually long though, but the load/ unload station is cool too.

Disneylands is better...Squared...Cubed.

Its a very good ride, more on the mild side for me....but i still loved it! Its disney they are amazing no matter what!
