This ride is good, it has great theming and I love riding it. But compared to other coasters, it isnt that great, but this is fun!
My first rollercoaster ever! I remembered it as intense from when I was a kid; I re-rode it again in 2000 (20 years later)and was still impressed. I didnt remeber that it so long! WHat a great ride.
This is a fun mine train coaster, but not as rough as some like mine trains should be. It does however have excellent themeing all the way through.
This rides name truly speaks for itself. This is the best ride in the WHOLE world. If you ever go to the Magic Kingdom do this first thing. In the Afternoon the line can exceed 90 min.+. This is better than the anaheim countaer part. Ive ridden that one over 200 times. Im not lying! In the four times Ive been to Walt Disney World this ride is truly a treat to ride. I love how it starts out underground. It gives you the sensation youre in an old abandoned mine. This is just part of the Disney magic.
Very fun. One of my favorites at WDW.
Take away the theming and this ride is a joke. Not much of a thriller. Breakdowns all the time. The only highlight of the ride is you can get a little airtime.
If it wouldnt have been for the theming this ride would have been horrible, the ride itself is pretty lame but you do get a little airtime in the back on some of the little hills.
a better disney coaster better turns than DL
This ride is really mediocre. An attempt at a decent roller coaster ride that falls short in a lot of ways. I find the Mark Twain Riverboat Ride three times as thrilling as this one. What does that tell you about me?
People often view this as a kiddie coaster, but it isnt. Its a Mine Train coaster, which never are intense anyway. Big Thunder Mountain is the best Mine Train coaster in existance (along with its 3 sister coasters at other Disney parks.) If you sit in the back, you actually get some lateral and negative Gs, and even a little air time. The theming is some of the best ever done for a coaster, and thats what makes BTR so fun.
