It is stunning how far this ride has deteriorated from the original concept. Back when built as the Right Stuff Mach 1 Adventure it was the anchor to a whole themed Edwards Air Force Base Area. A real jet fighter sat in the hanger bay and the cue line was themed with historic jet fighter engines. The pre-show was in a themed staging area. Today, after a series of Dino Island and Sponge Bob movie replacements, we are left with a short soulless film set in a drab building with no themeing at all. The movie itself is too short and not very fun. It is much worse than the 3-D Sponge Bob movie it replaced and worse than the Elvira movie that runs at Halloween.
