This time I didnt get slammed in the jaw on the first drop, so I was more open to the experience. Not a fan of TOGO, this ride might have been the rage when it first came out, but B&Ms Riddler & Mantis make this seem like a carnival ride.

This is a very awkward and uncomfortable ride. I like the loop, and it has a nice helix, but the restraints are stange and take forever to load, and frankly, the ride is ugly too.

My first Stand-up, and i loved it then, and do to this day! but was replaced by Mantis as my favorite stand-up quickly! great ride though!

Ahh what a classic. This was my first stand up coaster and boy was I nervous. I remember going up the lift so scared looking down on the loop. I loved it my first time. Then I came back to the park a couple years later after riding Mantis and Vortes at PC and didnt like it half as much. Overall it is still a good ride.

This was my first stand-up roller coaster about ten years ago, so I will always remember it. Today it is a decent ride, but it can get uncomfortable now with the restraints. The ride is still decent, but be ready for a pretty long wait.

Ouch. Headbanging..Short and old. Restraints are too confusing and strange. Replace it please!

I loved Shockwave its one of my favorite rides in Kings Dominion. I was really scared the first time I was riding though ... now however I think its an awesome stand-up coaster.

There is more to a ride than the top of the lift hill to the brake run. As far as this goes it is almost an average ride. A bit of a drop, a loop, a helix, some hops and its over in less than a minute. Then there is the insufferable wait in the sun waiting for the other train to get onto the lift hill so we could then enter the station. The wait is neccessary because the ride is so incredibly short and the loading so complex.

I had to yell to the guy in front of me to put his arm through the shoulder restraint before trying to buckle the belt. The ride op then appeared and got the guy properly restrained. Unfortunately while the ride op is shuffling along rebuckling as many as half the riders nothing is moving.

This coaster is a standup. If you are familiar with Mantis at CP you have an idea. But, this ride holds only 2 across rather than 4. On the day I rode this the staff was slow also. This ride was just not worth the wait.

Okay ride. The standing up part is cool, but to bumpy (hurts my neck.)

after rideing the mantis- this sux!!!!!! i mean the restraints cut off ur air supply and the train seems to fly off the track(whihc isnt good
