Date Ridden: Summer of 2008. Times Ridden: 1 Now this was an ".out-of-the-way". destination. We visited Adventure Park USA after leaving the 6 Flags park in Maryland to hop aboard this transplanted Wildcat ride from Busch Gardens. The park itself was deserted when we got there but for a few families and young children so we had the run of the place. There are virtually no rides to speak of, as they seem to make their money off of after school programs, birthday parties, and go-kart racing. We spend a couple of bucks each to add the Wildcat to our ride lists and decided to eat supper there since the food was so inexpensive. The Wildcat itself is a smooth ride with lots of fun drops. It is very well taken care of and the young people running the ride were friendly and excited about having a coaster at the park. I'.ll go with the standard Wildcat score of 7 here. If you are in the vicinity (I don'.t really know why you would be) drop by and take a whirl. The park does excellent community service work and would probably be grateful for the support.
Although this is your basic Wildcat, I gave it a couple bonus points because you get a great view of the farm fields and barns in the distance while at the top. Makes this "off the shelf" ride unique.
I actually like Wildcats and this was the best one Ive been on. The drops like always are very zippy and much better than they look, but this one seemed faster than on others Ive been on. The park also themed the cars on this one too.
