this ride flume rocked. mostly because more people can fit into the boats and theres scenery!! most log flumes have nothing. atleast this one keeps ya entertained. its 6:00 long and the line can be really long but the line can be short during the parade. its a great flume!

This was my first ride that was out of the kiddie section! This is the ride that got me hooked and helped me move on to bigger and better things. This is a great ride for kids! It is a nice long ride, so its worth the wait. And the drop is great for a kind of corny (but cute) ride!

How do you do pretty good to meet you, God I cant get it out of my head, cool ride do it on an e-night or during the day parade Lines tend to be more manageable.

I defy anyone to come off the ride and not have a big grin on their face - the theme is superb and is a good long ride - the drop might not be the scariest but youll be hard pressed to find a better all round water attraction

I loved this ride!
First of all, it is a long ride, 10 minutes or so, which makes the wait more worth it. (I mean, who wants to stand in line for an hour or so and then be on the ride for 30 seconds?!?) The ride is about Briar Rabbit and how he escapes from Briar Fox. The robots were ok, nothing wonderful, but what makes this ride so great is that the huge drop you see from outside is not the only drop, there are a few others. I hate flumes where there is only one drop. Plus, most of the ride was inside, and around every corner I expected to be plunged down the big drop. I couldnt believe how long it was! And if you get the Fastpass, you only have to wait for 5 minutes and that makes it even better!

Fun...but the ride you go through before the drop lasts a little too long. I guess it is alright for kiddies...I was just anticipating the drop to be right around the corner, but it was just more robots. Finally we get to the drop and it was fun...maybe not quite as fun as it could have been but fun. When you are watching other people ride it looks like their really in the briar patch...it is a cool effect. It is enjoyable.

this is one of disneys greatest rides.its better than any flume and has amazing scenery and the story line is good the drop at the end ispretty fun but the inside is very detailed.waiting in line isnt very bad as there are many things too look at!

The best ride at the Magic Kingdom. It beats the hell out of every other flume ride out there. The animatronics are funny and the inside of the mountain is very well themed. There are about 3 drops before the big drop! Most people think that all that happens is that you go into the mountain, see a couple things then go down a medium sized drop. Its more than that. First you go down a small drop into the mountain and you go past some of the funniest scenes in any disney ride. The ones with Brer Fox and Brer Bear are my favorites. One of the smaller drops are in complete darkness! The biggest drop isnt as big as it looks from a distance so dont expect a ripsaw falls drop, but splash mountain blows ripsaw falls away. There are 3 songs that they sing inside the mountain. The first song is something like on the farm or something. The second song is Everybodys got a Laughin Place. And then after you go down the big drop, you go back into the mountain where all the characters are singing Zip-a-dee-do-da in a big showboat. One thing i didnt quite understand was that when i was riding, about 3 times the audio would stop momentarily and they had one of those ride problem announcements but of course, disney trys thier hardest to not make them sound like "problems" so the announcement was "Looks like Brer Fox and Brer Bear are causin some trouble upstream, your ride will continue shortly" this announcement was frequently being played although we were riding along normally. I noticed that disney does this kind of thing alot on their rides, dont ask me why. But anyway, Splash Mountain is the best ride at the Magic Kingdom despite the fact that it has the longest wait in the park. If you want to ride this without waiting 2-3 hours, get a fastpass early in the day because they were out of fastpasses at 3 in the afternoon! thats 6 hours before the park closes! Well when it all comes down to it, Splash Mountain is THE best reason to visit the Magic Kingdom and is hands down the best flume ride ever! It deserves a huge 10!!!!

Well Done. It reminds me of the story when I was little. The theme is good, and the ride is long. This is one of the top 5 Flumes in my book.
