This is a very average ride. It gets and extra point because its such a unique ride. The ride is in a very small building and there isnt much room to move around. they are slow but the bumps are hard to predict were you will bounce to. The Duration of the ride was pretty good. a they were fun despite the fact they seemed to shut down every time you bumped some one.
One year ago I really hated this ride, but now I actually really like Bumper Fun. Located towards the far left side of Playland in a very small arena, Bumper Fun is slated to be removed after this season. A year ago I wouldnt have cared, but now I actually like this ride so I would be a bit sad if I saw it go. Due to low ridership and low popularity, Bumper Fun generally is a walk-on. There are a few cars in the arena and the best way to describe them are bumper boats in a bumper car arena. I noticed a few differences in the cars. The green car was by far the fastest and the most powerful, while the red car was easily the slowest and weakest of all the cars. The white cars were just average in both categories. Restrained by just a seat-belt, the ride is steered by using a steering wheel. Last year these cars were a nightmare to steer, but this year they were much better thanks to a white arrow on the steering wheel that tells you what direction you are going in. The ride cycle wasnt too long, but the ride is very fun and worth a ride. Best of all, the operators didnt care if you did head-on collisions, which were very cool. Though the bumps werent exceptionally hard, you could get some decent ones if you built your speed up. Overall, Bumper Fun is a fun ride that anyone who enjoys bumper boats would enjoy. Bumper car fans might also enjoy this, but keep in mind these arent your traditional bumper cars.
