The Cyclone is only rough if you dont know how to position yourself correctly. I love this ride. The roughness makes it so much fun. My friends and I usually like to play straw-building contest during the ride. Its quite fun. The rides duration is very nice. The operators are usually friendly which makes the ride have a nice atmosphere. I hope to see this ride stick around.

I havent ridden this or visited the park since 1998 so I dont know exactly what the ride is like now but when I rode it it was one of the very best woodies Ive ridden. You MUST ride in the back seat for best ride!! It would get a 10 if the ride was completely brakeless but there was still lots of airtime!

This is a good coaster, but it is also very rough. The steep drops pack quite a punch and some good airtime, but the the roughness can sometimes be painful. The excitement and airtime that this coaster provides would rate it a nine, but I had to deduct a point because it is so rough.

This woodie is horribly rough and the pace is a bit screwy, the turns are overbanked and jolty, but the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th hill offer some good airtime. But hold on for the forth drop off the second turn, it is wicked, great airtime, but horribly rough bottoms.

This ride is one of the best wooden coasters Ive ever been on. I love the tight track layout and the drops on this one are (or at least WERE) some of the steepest for any wooden coaster. It also has just the right amount of that out-of-control feeling. I highly recommend this ride.

This woodie is INSANE! Before Cyclone, I had never ridden a coaster that moves in and out of itself. I always tried to reach up and see if I could touch the sign at the top of the drop.

Big drop which is an 8. Lots of airtime (7). Rough ride (4). Long line (5). Good layout (7). As good as Scream Machine (9). Average of 6.8 something, which rounds to 7, but for reasons I cannot explain I give it an 8.

It was much more than i expercted. the airtime was awsome and its fast! make sure u check out this rockin coaster!

Yes its a little rough, but its a wood coaster. I love this ride. It felt out of control and I got lots of airtime. So much in the back that i got a little frightened, which is a good thing.

I knew nothing about this coaster before going to Atlanta. I was very pleasantly surprised and I now know its a very good one. With each drop the last car is still coming out of a turn creating side to side movement and air time together.
