Lackluster comes to mind. The lines are attrotious for a lackluster ride. The spinning was fun at first, but the ride was over too quickly and I came off dry. The drop part was cool.

the only fun part of theis ride is when the tube retuns to the station on the slow water it has way too much spinning at the start and a slow life doesnot help the matter

This ride was alright. It was a good replacement but it didnt live up to the hour+ line time.

Would have been fun, but I mean come on, a heavily trimmed water slide?! It spun a little, it wasnt terrible...

APPEARANCE: Well, it looks like the standard water slide for the most part, but Im just not a big fan of its color scheme. The wooden station, which is complete with a water wheel, looks great though.

WAIT TIME: 60+ minutes- Lines are absolutely attrotious for this water ride thanks to its low capacity per raft and long dispatch intervals. Therefore, ride this very early in the day or at night when lines are almost non-existant.

RIDE: The lift was pretty slow and uneventful, but after that the ride was very unique. For the entire way down, my raft spun like crazy piling on some good Gs along the way. My favorite part was the double drop, which gave great sensations and speed. The lazy river-esque part at the end was unique and a nice touch as well.

FINAL VERDICT: Splash Water Falls certainly is a fun and very unique ride, but its not worth the outrageously long wait that it usually garners. If it has a short wait, go for it.

This is a pretty good ride. You spin really fast and the final drops pack a thrill.

I actually really like Splashwater Falls. I got to ride this at its previous home at Six Flags Astroworld, so it was kind of neat to try it again here (too bad SWAT, er, Catapult, wasnt operating the day I visited, or else Id say the same for it as well). Its true that you dont get very wet here, but that could be a good or a bad thing I guess, depending on how wet you really want to get. It does feel like a true waterslide raft ride though, from the way you have to climb in, to the sort of awkward inflated seats. I found the spinning to be enjoyable, the sloshing up the sides of the trough was good, and the little dips at the end were a nice finish. I cant say if Splashwater Falls is better than the log flume it replaced, as I never got to ride that, but taken on its own I think this is unique and entertaining.

I thought that this ride was decent. I rode it alone and found that I spun a lot. The ride is quite short. It looks like a water ride, but dont be deceived. You will not get wet on this ride.

Addendum: It has recently come to my attention that this ride contains some additional elements that can add to the wetness of the experience. However, they were not in operation the day I rode this attraction, so I can only review the ride as it was when I rode it.

ughhh
made me so sick
it spun
and it spun
and it spun
and it spun
without end
i just didnt like it
it seems like they were masking the plain boring design of the ride with the spinning
and they went overboard
they should just make a better design so people wont get so sick
dont ride if you dont like spinning a lot

This ride is OK. For starters dont ride it alone. I tried that and I got stuck. The Station looks great and it takes up far less room then the old flume. This ride isnt any more spectacular though. The lift is slow and the spinning gets old. The double drop at the end is allot of fun and the River section at the end is actually nice. Not a great replacement for the flume and unless the Water piping is on providing a water fall your not getting we. Not worth long wait.
