Chance Carousel is a carousel. It is average speed, fun, rerideable, it has a large capacity, and long duration.

Just an average carousel really, and it truly pales in comparison to the Antique Carousel that Dorney proudly displays (and rightfully so) at the park entrance. It has some positives, such as a long cycle and the fact that it moves at a decent clip. However, the simple fact remains that it is a rather pedestrian carousel not unlike many you could find at a local carnival or fair. The fact that they have this sitting where it is still puzzles me somewhat. I could see having a second carousel if this one was in a kids area, but as it is it just seems odd. Its still mildly enjoyable, but really not worth much time with the superior model located up in the front of the park.

A lackluster carousel in my opinion. Well as the name suggests it indeed is a Chance Carousel, and has the usual fiberglass horses. To Dorneys credit they do give a long cycle on this and the movement was pretty good, but I just found this carousel to be pretty dull. Not that this is a bad carousel or anything, but it just is a pretty dull ride and not nearly as good as the classic one Dorney has.
