This is a very good flume ride that is very long. The drop at the end is average, but unlike most flumes the whole ride is pretty fun. The speed on the flat sections is also pretty good. If not for going to Orlando and riding Splash Mountain and especially Dudely Do-Rights Ripsaw Falls, this would be my favorite flume. A great ride even for thrillseekers and children alike.

I realized that disney blatantly ripped this ride off for their own splash mountian. I say that becuase this ride obviously predates theirs and also features a suprise coaster drop in the darkness. I also love the cheesy theming, which in general is what makes knotts so great, that unlike a six flags park they try and make their log flume resemeble somehting.

I give it a 10 out of sheer memories of riding this as a child, terrified through the whole thing because you know theres that drop at the end, but somehow youre pulled into the world of the timberman, and then the end comes, youre going up that hill, and you remember the drop, but theres no seatbelts, no lap bar, only mommy sitting behind you to hold you in. The little splashes of water are enough to make you yell "EEEK". Its not so wet that you only want to ride it in the summer, and not annoying like other log rides (ahem, "Zip-a-dee-doo-daaaaaah!!!" Okay, so animatronics have changed over the years. Somehow, I dont want all that. This is not about flashy tunes and effects. Its Ghost Town, for crying out loud! The Log Ride is about a good ride with a good story, something enjoyable for me and the children I bring now.

One of the first themed log flumes. I liked the ride even though the themeing looks out-dated. The drop was nice too.

This was the first ride with a drop that i had ever ridden. I still remember it. It has great theming, and the part where the doors swing open and you find out youre ontop of this huge drop is great. CLASSIC

If you ever want to know where disney came up with the idea of a log ride, look no further than Knotts Berry Farm. When Mr. Knotts installed this log flume in his park it was one of the first in the Country. It was also one of the first to have it indoors with a story. This ride is great for all ages. The themeing is very good for the time that this log flume was instaled. My favorit part of this ride is at the point where the doors swing open and you are at the dop of a long drop down. Its a great log flume. I almost like it better than Spash Mountain because their are no singing animals.
