GhostRider was a very good ride, BUT also pretty rough. One ride was all I was able to get, and it was worth it. Sitting in the front of the back car, we got some pretty good air throughout the ride, but nothing as strong as I have experienced on other CCIs. The roughness did take away from the ride a bit, but not as much as some of the locals may want you to think. I liked the first drop as well as those in between turnarounds - speaking of, the high turnarounds were probably a blessing since the ride has become so rough. I could see where this thing used to be world-class, but nowadays, its just a slight diappointment. At least its the best wood in SoCal =\

A very good woodie. None of the individual parts of the ride are fantastic, but you put everything together and it is very good. The initial drop is nothing special, but diving into the structure is great. The planks are just flying past you. Coming up the next hill gives you some fair airtime. The ride continues similarly after that. Great speed inside the belly of ride and fair airtime. The final helix is good also. I also dont think it is near as rough as most say.

this ride is amazing. me and my friends just couldnt get enough of this ride especially since it was a short line. we would get off, run to the entrance again and go again. i think we did this literally 12 times in a row, not counting the times that we only went once at a time, so i think we went on it 16 times in all, and every single time i sat in the front. it is nothing intense but it is just fun.

This ride had great airtime and was a lot of fun. Almost every drop gave a large dose of airtime. My biggest complaint is that at the bottom of every hill the ride became a little too rough for my taste, I wish I could have ridden this ride when it first opened. I loved how every drop seemed so big, especially the one after you turn around over the lift hill. The ride also seemd very long for a coaster, which is always a plus. For a ride that was so long, it kept its momentum really well and had excellent pacing.

Ghostrider is loaded with everything that wooden coaster should have - airtime and tight helixes/turns. As the train crests over the first hill, you are able to look down into a wooden bedlam and wonder why you decided to put yourself through this. The train then barrels down the first drop giving your stomach that much-beloved sinking feeling. After the first drop, you are surrounded by a swarm of wooden chaos and can only wonder where you’ll travel next. Throughout the course of this ride you’ll experience some of the best airtime that wooden coasters can provide. You’ll also spin around through some tight turns. The thing that will amaze you the most about Ghostrider is that it has relentless speed. The mid-course brake run and final brake run are the only chances you have to catch your breath. CCI planned out this ride perfectly to give you one of the most intense 2 minutes and 40 seconds ever. So as you enter the parking lot and drive right next to, or maybe even under Ghostrider, be prepared. Ghostrider is waiting for you.

Ahhh, Ghostrider, whats not to love. This is #2 on my top ten list and I had to think long and hard about making it #1. First off its hands down the best wooden roller coaster ever! I have never expierenced A woodie with such power. It is a true blend of a great old style with todays modern technology, an absolute treat! This is one of the few rides that by itself warrants a visit to its park to ride. Very few people I talk to have ridden this and I would have to say its the most underated coaster around. Do yourselves a favor and visit LA, take a trip to Knotts Berry Farm and experience this beast of a ride.

This is the best wooden coaster i have ever been on!!!! The drop is huge!!! While your going up it feels like it will never stop but thats at night. The little dips along the track are great!!! You get a lot of air time.

Ghostrider is by far the best ride at Knotts Berry Farm, as well as one of the best wooden coasters (one of the best rides period) that I have had the joy of experiencing. This has an L-shaped layout that is rather unique. The first drop is wonderful. It is straight track for a while, then banks toward the left at the bottom which forces everyone to get shoved to the right. Countless hills of many different sizes follow, including my favorite drop that follows the "scenic turn." Sit in the back and you will get yanked over this like you wouldnt believe, and then get immediately thrust into yet another banked turn to the left with amazing lateral gs. Like some other CCI woodies, this one may be becoming rougher than it used to be, but I just dont care. It is gleeful insanity from start to finish. If you love wooden coasters, speed, negative gs, and lateral gs, then look no further than Ghostrider.

Ghostrider is such a fun woodie! I love how there is plenty of airtime and head choppers. We arrived at knotts and there was already a 1 hour line. The problem was the two attendants working the ride were two lazy to run both trains. Later that day we had two men who ran both trains and gave us plenty of space so that we had tons of airtime. Many say Ghostrider is rough which can be true in the back but its not terrible. Ghostrider is a smooth, produces lots of Gs, and has lots of airtime.
