For goodness sake; when reviewing a theme park attraction it is important to look at it from the right perspective. A ride like Its a Small World cannot be valued on the same scale or angle of a high speed roller coaster. This would be rather like expecting a sudden drop on the Maagic Kingdom Railroad! It has its flaws of course, but otherwise a timeless and stimulating attraction that should not be missed :-)
Not exactly sure why this ride gets a 7. Its historic, colorful and is a nice boat ride. I did, however, get stuck in one section for quite a while as all the boats stopped for whatever reason. Anyway, it didnt kill me, and gets a 7.
i luv this ride! hehe its a classic that i hope will never go. the length of the ride however goes for a little longer than necessary. i dont mind the song....it usually is out of my head by the time i leave the ride.
Like a user said before, this ride can be enjoyed by little ones and the older folks, but not teans or younger adults! The ride is sooooooo slow, the animatronics look like they are older than they are, and the SONG IS ANNOYING! At least change it as you go through the different countries! But Im an adrenilan junky, so my opinion might not count. But I just think that it shouldnt be a must for you trip to Magic Kingdom.
This was only good for classic nostalgic value, but it wasnt even the best indoor water ride that Ive been on- Ill take Monster Plantation or Blazing Fury anyday. What makes this ride so poor? The song that sticks in our minds and slowly pushes us to the brink of insanity. Thank goodness this ride is a classic, or it might have recieved a lower rating
Cute and classic, but annoys the heck out of me. Make it stop... NOW!! Good for if its raining. I wouldnt wait in any kind of line for it though.
A Disney classic that needs to be revamped. The song can get pretty annoying but the ride itself is nice and relaxing. The theming is good too.
Essentially the same ride as at Disneyland, except without the cool exterior. Its fun for little kids, but the outside was the best part of the original. I was a bit disapointed to come to WDW and see nothing more than a banner for the entrance.
This is a poor atempt to duplicate the Small World ride from Disneyland. The ride is a lot shorter than Disneylands version & the outdoor apeel of the ride is supose to be ironic (the origonal Small World is by far the largest ride in the park) The inside of the ride is still as cute as the other one is though........"its a small world after all, its a small world after all, its a sma - AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! The song after a while can get a bit IRITATING.
What can I say about Its A Small World? This could be quite possibly the most infamous ride ever built. Anytime you hear a joke about a boring ride at an amusement park, Its A Small World is probably involved in the punchline somehow. For this reason, I had to give this ride a try. The ride itself is relaxing and features alright theming that could use revamp though. The major gripe about this ride is the song. Its been a full 4 years since I was last at Disney and that song still haunts me to this day. I ended up forcing myself to give this ride a 6 simply because its a notorious classic.
