Pretty dull chaos in my opinion. This one had a very long cycle, but the rides movement was pretty weak. I got a cycle with plenty of rocking, but the ride revolved slower than others Ive been on and there was minimal flipping, though the flips I had were as thrilling as usual.

The only Chaos Ive had the pleasure of riding, and, well, it lived up to its name to a decent extent. It was with some devil-may-care attitude that I hopped on board this shindig with my niece - she was dead-set, and I figured what the hell. Little did I know that I was in for a total of three rides - two consecutive, the latter preceded by a spin on the Gravitron. And STILL I didnt run from the ride with an aim for the garbage can. It offered up a few flips, and the random turning and spinning at full throttle was actually pretty enjoyable. Surely not the ride for everyone, but it floated my boat adequately enough.

Why oh why have the Chaoses disappeared (ok, yeah, people get seriously injured, but I mean besides that)? This was fun, mostly a Wheeeee! kind of ride until the serious rocking started. Im not sure how these work, but it seemed that at some point the operator (cute, wholesome teenage girl) must have released some kind of stabilizer on the cars to allow them to swing. The swinging was fun, until it became more Oh my! and we finally flipped. Once, maybe twice. Since most parks have removed Chaos due to the danger of collapse and we didnt flip a lot, I wonder if the flipping on this one has somehow been minimized to decrease the stress on the equipment and keep it stable in this very family oriented park. It is in excellent shape, not the least bit shabby or rusty like rides sometimes are in smaller parks. I gave the Carousel at Trimpers an extra point just for being around and maintained, so due to the rarity of Chaoses and good maintenance, its getting an 8.........Reroad this recently, and the 8 stands. Not sure if it was the operator, the late hour, or the chair I was in, but there were a lot more flips this time. The sensation of getting this - close to a flip and then rolling back is also almost superior to a full flip, since the direction change is counter to the one your body is preparing for. All in all, a great ride Im grateful we still have this example of.

Its good to still be able to ride these somewhere, as most of the local theme parks have gotten rid of them. I still enjoy a good Chaos ride. This one is in great shape, in a beach/boardwalk location and sits higher than most. I did find, though, that it didnt seem to flip nearly as often as others Ive been on.

An average Choas. Only different in its slight elevation. This ride is the same dizzy flipping ride found at most parks this size.
