Its rare for me to really dislike a Coney Island ride, but this is just one of them. I absolutely applaud the park for trying to cram a custom flume in such a small space, but honestly the portable models are on par with this. First and foremost, this ride just feels empty without trees and scenery. I envision the ideal log flume running along trees in a tranquil setting, not in the middle of Coney Island. But what really disappoints me about this ride are the drops. They are puny and many flumes have a larger first drop than the "big" drop on this one. Also I always have come off absolutely dry, which is really disappointing on stifling New York summer days. Its also way too quickly. As Ive said, I applaud the park for trying an original design, but its just not exciting enough and sadly not that fun.
I give the park credit for having a very unique layout for a ride with such a small footprint. Unfortunately, the ride was devoid of theming or anything to hide the layout. It had two drops, but the big one wasnt that big and thrilling, and I came off completely dry, which was disappointing.
This log flume goes surprisingly fast, although the drop is small and you dont get very wet. The Log Flume at the Myrtle Beach Pavilion is similar since it takes up very little space, but that flume has two major drops and a tunnel. Dont pass it up if theres a short line though.
An average flume, but nothing compared to log flumes around the country. I never got wet, just a few drops fell on me on the "big" drop, but it was fast moving and a nice way to escape the crowds. Just to tell you, with all the people in Coney Island how come the lines are always less than 15 minutes?
For the small space it occupies, this isnt such a bad ride. Besides that, its a great way to cool off on a hot New York summer day.
I liked this, but its not so great compared to flumes at real theme parks which have much better scenery. Otherwise it was fun.
A fun log-flume. This is nothing special when compared to rides like Splash Mountain at Dinsey World/Land. If you are at Coney Island long enough to ride more than just the Cyclone, give this a whirl.
it is small and for a fiberglass flume it is pritty smooth and it fits in to Conyisland well
This ride is preety good but, my sister got a cut on her pinky from it, I went there I went on 2 times, and Im still ready for more
It was an average flume, but having it in the middle of gravel and no trees and woods it feels empty.
