Front of Fire, its the way to go... but usually the longest wait in the park

Dueling Dragons is one of the most unique, and certainly the best-themed ride in the world. IOA hit it just right with the dungeon-like castle, the forest, the track appearance, and everything. The castle was phenomenally done, and the room where you "choose your fate" is cool. If you listen carefully they have noises like a dragon breathing. The tracks look cool too, as they twist in and out of each other over the lake. Just brilliantly designed and executed appearance and theming. Dueling Dragons is also an ADRENALINE MACHINE. The dueling elements are cool. The coolest part of the duel is when you pull out of the station and see your "opponent" for the first time. The coastes were good. The thing is, if you took away the theming and the dueling aspect itd be just another good inverter. As for Fire, I liked it a little more than Ice. Somewhat faster and more powerful. The near-miss floating over the rolling Ice is great. As much as I love the theming as this is the coolest-looking coaster on Earth, its not my absolute favorite because its just not that great a pure coaster. A must for any coaster enthusiast.

The dueling element on both coasters is fantastic! The themeing of the que castle is UNBELIEVABLE! The coaster itself? Not bad at all, but not superior. Id much prefer Raptor or any of the BATMAN clones. The rides seemed short and not much substance between the inversions and/or the 3 dueling scenes. Id rank Fire as my least favorite of the two ... the 1st dueling element is not as effective from FIRE, and it doesnt feel quite as invigorating. BIGGEST BEEF: There is absolutely NO themeing once out of the castle/cave. Cmon! Spend the extra $100 and give me a village to pillage or at least some trees to soar above. Concrete and fake green wall equal lame excuses for themeing.

This isnt as good as other inverted coasters like Montu at busch gardens, but its better than the ice coaster. Fire is smoother, faster, and its the only inverted coaster that I know of that gives you air time. The castle is great too, and it hardly ever has a line.

Fire is my favorite of the two Dueling Dragons.:trophy: Its maintains speed better, it has better inversions, and it has airtime in the back seat during the hill over Ices heatrline roll.

Very good coaster. I just didntlike the elemnts, but the dueling made up for that. The theming is also the best of any coaster.

it was really fun to me.its like a montu and gwizi mixed.its also really well themed with the castile in all.kind of creepy when walking threw alone.

I didnt like this as much as the Montu but it was still really fun. It is really scary when the two tracks come together on the loops. You get more airtime on Fire due to the airtime hill. I liked Fire better than Ice, although Ice had the zero-g roll. The wrap around Immelman on Fire is extremely intense and provides for some CRAZY positive Gs. As a whole, this is a great coaster with exceptional theming.

Very nice coaster, great themeing, very intense. I still dont know which side is better since theyre both so great. The bunny hill is awesome and the immelhelix, although a bit jerky, is a nice touch. A must ride at IoA.

I love this ride. The way it tangles a long and how it almost crashes into eachother make you feel like you are really fighting. Great Ride and no big lines usually. Not as good as Hulk but better than Ice i think.
