Better than I expected. Another good beginner coaster. My youngest rode it and loved it. As he gets used to it, he will move on to other coasters. I wish other parks had better beginner coasters.
Date Ridden: Summer of 2007 and Spring of 2008. Times Ridden: 3 A nice, fast family coaster that is not uncomfortable with two adults in 1 car. The tunnel is a nice option but the ride itself is what it is. Its a family coaster that is good for a credit for the rest of us. Why have I ridden it 3 times?
Pretty good ride. The line does move slowly though, because there is only one train with 8-4 seater cars. The only thing that kinda hurt my score (no offense anyone) is that I rode Goliath before this... The ride delivers a good 30-35 MPH speed with low G-forces. The ride goes around the newly built pavilion which includes an arcade and restaurant that has kids food. It spends 8 seconds inside a building, and it goes over a building. Good fun for the kids, but it received a 7 due to me riding the 200 somethin foot tall, 70 somethin MPH ride. In conclusion, good ride for the kids, but the lines are unmerciful.
This is what the Dalonega Mine Needs! This ride is Fast and Keeps you on the standing up in your seat! if only it had a loop.........
Best ride is in the back, because that first drop actually gives you a little bit of airtime, and then the rest of the ride is pretty fast for a kiddie coaster. Overall, not bad.
The Wile E. Coyote Canyon Blaster is a fun little ride, especially for the kids. The theming is good, and the tight figure eight layout packs quite a punch for a kiddie coaster. Unfortunately, the ride is way too short, and the line moves slowly because there is only one train. The result is usually a 30-minute wait for a 30-second ride. Also, the restraints are designed for children, so they are a pretty tight fit for most adults. Its still worth a ride if you have kids, though.
My friends and I had just gotten off "Acrophobia" and "Freefall"...we needed a nice gentle ride...we didnt want some dumb flat...so we tried this...I loved the themeing...not like other rides at any Six Flags park...The coaster was quite smooth which was good...all the kids on it were laughing and screaming with there hands up...which was enjoyable to watch...I gave it a 7 because the line for it was long...about 45 min...the line was VERY slow moving...and the ride was SO short!...it was a shame, because it was quite enjoyable...I recommend this if you have children or if the line isnt too long...it is very fun...
OK, this is one of those tough coasters to rate, since it is a kiddie one. For young children, I would have given it an 8- it has pretty good speed (30mph) and has a sweet location and themeing: it goes over the courtyard near the Carrot Club, it goes in and out of the building, and it has some really nice station themeing, with unique coaster trains, unlike a typical Six Flags coaster. However, as an adult, I would give this ride a 2, I mean, it is still only a 45 second figure eight, though ths layout is still nice, so I will give it an average of the two (that being an 8 and a 2). This coaster would have been nice 15 years ago, but to me, its only another number in the coaster count.
