I actually found the newer of Playlands two kiddie coasters to be one of the best kiddie coasters that I have ever been on. Located near Playlands Kiddyland, the Family Flyer sports a vibrant orange paint job. Generally a walk-on like most kiddie coasters, the Family Flyer seats 12 riders per cycle. At the front of the train is a dragon head. I rode this twice, once in the front and once in the back. Though the cars were a bit cramped, its nothing thats too different from other kiddie coasters. Restrained by just a lap bar, the Family Flyer begins with a slight jerk and then proceeds up a small lift hill. Following that is a twisting drop that is followed by a hill that leads into a fairly slow helix. Then came a turn with a few bunny hops before returning to the station. Then you get a second lap. Despite what others have said, the Family Flyer was a very smooth kiddie coaster and I didnt find it jerky at all. Overall, the Family Flyer is one of the better kiddie coasters out there that any child would enjoy. Its nothing out of the ordinary, but worth a ride when you visit Playland.

This is just a terrible coaster. it throws you around and is very jerky. the only thing it has going for it is the Playland dragon siting on the front of it. Hit it if you want the credit or if you have a child with you wanting to ride. but they will likely enjoy the Kiddie wood coaster allot more.

With the same layout as Road Runner Railway @ Great Adventure, this ride is a kiddie ride not nearly as good as others. Its not uncomfortable or anything, but its by no means vintage or cool looking. The colors are just weird and the layout is a tad too simple. If you have a little brother or son/daughter, he/she might like it. (if theyre little)
