You enter the train via a leopard carpeted station overlooking the game room inthe casino. The trains are rather comfy with lots of leg room. The lift hill rises through a tunnel in the roof. The first drop was sweet and the ride kept the momentum from there. There were some rough spots, but overall this coaster delivered. The helices in the "mountain" were nice and the ride itself was rather long. Nothing like a coaster oasis in the middle of a desert. This was worth the ride - at $6 a pop it was reasonable - especially because each ticket gave me a 2 for 1 coupon for Manhattan Express in Las Vegas.

I really enjoyed this ride. I enjoyed the speed, hills, air time, and the tunnels alot. I would ride this coaster all day and night. This is definitely the best coaster in Nevada and is a great hypercoaster at 225 ft. Its very smooth and alot of fun. Be sure to go on a weekend day when its busy so you can get alot of rides on it. The Desperado is a steel, sit down non looping mega/hyper roller coaster. It was built in 1994 by Arrow Dynamics. It is 209' tall, 5,843' long, it is fun, fast, rerideable, has a long ride duration, and a large capacity.

I live in CA so every time we pass through Vegas we stop at this casino to ride this ride. Very fun. Best aspect is its length. Its long. And it features a huge drop.

Mmm. Hill. It tastes like good coaster. But one problem-its in the middle of a desert.

Excellent first drop and interesting layout, but uneven turns and transitions that can be decently rough and some of the drops and aspects can be taking at really odd speeds and angles, so the coaster falls below some expectations. I liked some of the theming and areas the coaster goes to, but they really should use two train operation since there was a long line when I went.

The first drop is excellent and the layouts not too creative but overall you get a pretty thrilling and rough ride like bucking on a wild bronco. This ride is rough and tough like the men and women of the wild west. If you dont like it rough, head back to your packem in like cattle waiting to be slaughtered (in the wallet that is) Corporate Conglomerate Theme park.

The First Drop is amazing, but it is a very bumpy ride. Its almost like being on a wooden coaster. But still fun

You are in for a wild ride....... This is insane. Tip: Ride in the back car only, maybe one ride in the front seat but all others need to be ridden in the back. It is very painful in the first 4 cars but that last car is very smooth and the gs arent to strong, but the airtime is amazing. Watch out for that second elevated bunny hop, it flings you! I give it an 8 for the front and all the other 4 front cars but a 10 in the very back car. So a 9 evens it out very well.
