This is an Arrow hypercoaster, and the first hyper that I ever rode. I remember how huge that first drop was way back then, and it is still very impressive today. This is a massive coaster in every respect. It is an extremely long ride that wraps around the entire hotel and casino. The lift hill even emerges through the casino roof, and there is a spiral inside the log flume mountain. It also reaches great speeds, and there is amazing airtime on three consecutive camelback hills due to the speed. You fly right over each of them. As with all Arrows, this is rougher than any new coaster built today, but I wouldnt change it for anything. My oasis in the desert on the California / Nevada stateline.
PAIN! FIRST DROP SUCKS ITS NOT FUN!!
This is fun, because it is big and sprawling, and lasts a long time, yet is still a lot of fun.
Good solid Arrow hyper, but Im not sure if you are staying in Vegas that its worth a trip out to Buffalo Bills for it. The price is a bit steep, although there isnt any line, and if you like it, you could ride all day. But you probably wont BE ABLE to ride all day, because this thing hurts like hell. Watch out for that drop. Sure, youll be laughing if youre in the back seat coming down, but you hit a certain point where it starts to curve, and you better watch out for your back. This thing also vibrates like crazy, and your head will be feeling it. BUT, the airtime is spectacular. Too bad youre kinda too busy worrying about your thighs, as youll be slammed into the restraints. The end is great, though, as you fly through one building, and come inches from slapping a few trees through the last helix. All in all, good ride.
The first drop is more intense than Goliath and I love the huge sweeping turn right after. Excellent ride!
Oh ya. The only wait is for people to show up and fill the thing. The price is right - and it is a kick ass ride! One of the best hills around, good layout, and, oh ya, it is fast. Love the tunnel at the bottom of the hill - and love that the ride is longer than the line. You get your $$$ worth!!!
I rode it 7 years ago and it was in my top 10 for a while. I dont remember all the details after the great first drop into the tunnel, besides the great scenery. I did have to wait about 20 minute til we had enough people to ride, but the operator gave us a free ride (provided everyone swiched seats) because of the delay.
Wow...this is a very fine coaster. The first drop, 225 feet, is FANTASTIC. It is very high and very fast. Twice on the ride, the negative g-forces are so strong that it feels like the lap bar is going to pop up. The tunnels you go through at high speed add a lot to the ride. This is definitely the best coaster in Nevada and is a great hypercoaster.
A very fun ride. Not quite Goliath. It is very fast and the price is pretty good. It is pretty cool going through the casino. You dont get to do that on very many rides.
It was fun, and the speed was great. I love the drop, and how it goes around the casino. It was also a plus because when I went on it I got a free ticket for the Manhattan express, but it was an extremely rough ride. That brought the ride in general down a whole lot. I dont mind a little roughness, but this was too rough. But still enjoyable for you hyper fans out there.
