The Flying Scooters is a flat ride. It is fun, rerideable, has a large capacity, and a long duration.
Flying Scooters is a pretty decent flat ride, but not nearly as good as some other models Ive ridden. They run these nice and fast and for a pretty good ride time, but these just seem to be missing something. The ride itself doesnt look in the best shape either, which is a shame. The fact that these apparently arent "snappable" doent bother me much at all, since I dont know how to "snap" these types of rides in the first place! (which might be why I didnt really "get" Knoebels version quite as much as others do. Those ones were a great ride and all, but I just couldnt snap em). Still, this is a fun ride thats worth a spin or two.
These were a pretty good set of flying scooters. While not snappable, they had really good movement thanks to no restrictor chain. Also, Conneaut ran this one quickly and it had a long cycle.
I dont know, they seem like they should be easily snappable. They run it pretty fast and there are no stoppers on the sails.
While I never got these to make the metallic sound you get at Knoebels on the bounce I was able to get a few instances where the bucket seemed to stall at the bottom only to be pulled up quickly with a sharp turn of the sail. Although not a violent snap, I considered it a mild snap.
Ill admit, Im not sure if I know the true definition of a "snap".
Average Flying Skooter ride. It is a portable, so no snapping here, but that didnt stop me from trying
my first flying skooters... fun, but not all that much compared to the likes of those found at Knoebels.
