This is the 3rd of the "Racer Triplets" that I have ridden (PKDs Rebel Yell and Carowinds Thunder Road beign the other two). This was the slowest and least thrilling of the three. The retrofitted seats are very cramped... and the coaster just seems to limp through its course. Aside from being the coaster that some say started the wood coater renniasance, and also being the "Brady Bunch" coaster, nothing special about this one.

This is a pleasant, classic ride (backwards). Ive only ridden it forward once and pretty much got whiplash. But backwards I giggled the whole way through. Ive never gotten such butterflies on a coaster before.

I really enjoyed this ride backwards. Forward not as much. However it is pretty rough on the front stretch. I like the classic factor of the down and back. I also like the option for which way.

This is a classic modern racing coaster and I ride both sides when I visit the park. Both sides provide good air time and a good view of the park. I prefer the backwards to the forwards because it adds to the excitement of the ride. I take a point off because it doesnt have any tunnels and it needs a paint job. I usually ride this coaster before Beast Or Son Of Beast so it doesnt spoil the thrill.

Too short but the backwards side is much better. Why dont they still race? Why dont they change the name if that is the one thing the ride doesnt do! Well its so popular I geuss they cant. I might be crazy, but didnt the ride go backwards and forwards? I thought what use to happen was that the ride started forwards than stopped and went backwards. I must be thinking of some other ride.

This was my first real rollercoaster, and it has great sentimental value to me. It is a beutiful thing to see in the Coney Mall section of the park with its white color. It does not run as well as it used to, and they do not always race the trains, which is a shame. But it is a classic and deserves a lot of respect. It was the ride many credit for starting a new round of appreciation for coasters...

This ride would be so much better if it still raced. I enjoyed the backwards side more than the forwards side, but both were a lot of fun. Very rough when sitting over the wheels, but that can be fixed by sitting in the middle of a car.

i will give this ol 1972 classic a 9. i am more of a steel coaster fan, but i always manage to ride this coaster. maybe mainly because it is the first ride we HAVE to ride because this coaster has a lot of sentimentle to my mom. this was her first roller coaster and so we have to ride it as the first ride of the day. when i do ride it, i prefer backwards. it isnt nearly as rough and its more thrilling that way. this coaster has reasonable airtime and it is fast (about 60mph which really isnt that bad ) but all in all, i have a spot for this coaster too.

A fun wooden coaster. Being at the same park as the Beast and Son of Beast takes away from its thrill a little bit, but makes up a bit by having a backwards train.

I really enjoyed the ride, and the history alone gives itself a 9, as it was a good woodie, but the day I went was extremely slow, the the backwards side wasnt even up, so I cant give it a 10 yet, but on my next trip, Im sure it will shoot up my list.
