Pretty good for an Arrow mega looper. Its a little rough, but nothing excessive. The ride features six inversions paced in such a manner that you find yourself fairly disoriented at the end of the ride. The only break between the inversions is the midcourse brake between the 2 vertical loops and the 2 corckscrews. A good ride worth at least 2 rides per visit.
This ride is a great steal coaster. It is fast with a lot of loops and turns. Ride this ride at night, there are no lights on it. You cant see anything thats coming its great. I love this ride at pki I ride it two or three times.
This is a great coaster because you loop and corkscrew a lot in a relatively small space, so it feels like youre upside down as much as youre not. Other loopers could learn a lesson from this ride and pack more loops, rolls and corkscrews into a smaller area like the Vortex does!
That frikin hurt. Maybe my head is too soft, but i needed a Tylenol after that. They have hard pads and your head bangs against them. Annoying....but the drop is good.
I find it to be a very good traditional looper. Good thrill and not painful in my opinion. Most rides with the otsr arent worth feeling like youre in a straight jacket but this one is pretty good. I remeber when it was brand new the hype was off the charts.
Great coaster! Oldie but a goodie! Lots oLoops and always facing some new direction. Cant go higher than an "8" only because the competition out there is too daggone fierce.
For some reason I find myself coming back for more constantly with PKIs Vortex. The line isnt that bad and the first drop is very intense. A whole heck of a lot better than the Carolina Cyclone. Always nice to follow up this ride with a cheese coney from Skyline Chili...mmmmm...coneys.......
nice first drop, ride seems to last forever with you spending most of the time upside down. I dont remember it being as painful as others say
The Pretzal Boomarang-Picturesc and painful...OUCH
Although this coaster is by no means a spring chicken, its been maintained very well, and it shows. I love the design, and that you dont stay in one direction for very long. If only it didnt have that annoying brake right before the corkscrews - otherwise, its great.
