This ride scared the Bejeeves out of me. I freaked out on the way down. However, the way down isnt nearly as bad as the ride up.
I love it.....The height is incredible!
Just like acrophobia this is a great unique ride way better than the s&s towers.
Drop Zone is my number one non-rollercoaster attraction. Youve gotta understand, I grew up on the old Intamin freefall "elevator" towers which, IMHO, still offer a decent quickie of a thrill. Over the years, variations of the drop ride have made things more interesting, but Drop Zone is by far the most intense. For starters its high, high, high! The ascent is graceful and yet unnerving as it spins. And the freefall really does seem to last forever. Moreover, its smooth in a way S&S towers and other drop rides are not. Tends to be a bit of a long wait, but WORTH IT!
Great, tall free fall ride that is fun to watch and of course ride. The fear factor just isnt there as it is on other drop rides.
Im a big fan of Intamin drop towers, and this one does not dissapoint. The height is amazing, and the drop is fast and fun.
The hight of this drop tower is uncanny! Being that high gives you such and adrenaline rush- and the drop seems to last forever! I love this ride.
This ride is alot of fun, after youve dropped. The line makes most people not want to ride it but the view is great and its extremely fun going down. I dont think they should call it a Gyro-Drop because it only spins you around once, when youre going up, and its a very slow spin. I just had to ride it again, its very nice right at sun-set
Im not a big fan of drop rides...
This is one of the best non-coaster rides in the park, but because the line is always so long, I dont ride it too much. It would be a 10, except it is only down, but other than that, great ride!
