It was a little too small and did not soak enough but it was fun none the less.
Slightly better than average Hopkins shoot the chute. I like the look of the ride and the drop is particularly zippy and quick on this one. The splash the boat made was huge as usual and I came off completely drenched.
Fun ride. This ride gets you soaked! Even though it has a basic design, it is a must do on a hot day. (even on a normal day) Fun for the whole family.
Basic shoot the chute ride. Nothing special just a basic ride at a basic park.
I love this ride! On a hot, Summer day, youll will stay cool, when you ride this ride. It really gets you soaked. Also stand on the observation deck, where the railing is? when the boat comes down, man, you get drenched! Though, how wet you get, depends on how much "butt" is the boat. If all the riders, are just a bunch of skinny 12-13 year olds, you wont get near as wet, as you will with the boat filled with bigger riders. Trust me on that one. So, if you want to get drenched on that observation deck, in front of the railing, first see how many people are in the boat, how big or small the riders are. Also, when you board the boats, to ride, sit in the last 2 rows, for you will get more wet.
A good water ride...I got pretty wet. It is set in very nice surroundings, too
Its a perfect replica of shoot the chutes ride that you get soaked on. It also gives you a very nice view of Lost Kennywood. Its a very picturesque part of the park. Its a little small in size but it does what its supposed to do (get you really wet) and this is why I like it on hot days in the summer. It is fun, rerideable, it has a large capacity, and a long duration.
A definite soaker, I truly like this ride! The setting of it in Lost Kennywood is just perfect, and the ride itself is simple but very effective. I like the fact that it replicates the older chute rides. Perfect ride for a hot day, with usually a minimal wait!
A replica of a classic shute the chutes ride, you go up 50 feet, turn around, and come right back down again. You will get wet, you may get soaked!
The Pittsburg Plunge is a great, old fashioned shoot the chutes styled ride with a rather large drop and an enormous splash. It looks great at night in the nostalgic Lost Kennywood! 8)
