An 80 year old ride that holds its own with most of todays coasters. The feature here is the killer double dip. If youve never been on a coaster with a double dip then you have no idea just how forceful the airtime can be. Like nothing Ive ever experienced on any other coaster.
This was my favorite ride in the park, which came as quite a surprise for me! A lovely nostalgic ride with the best airtime moment ANYWHERE. People forget to mention that fun little tunnel. I measure a ride not by stats, but by fun. And when I rode this I REALLY enjoyed myself. The trains are beautiful, the restraints are a dream, and the layout is sure to make you smile. I took a real shine to this ride and it will be lodged in my top ten coasters for quite some time to come.
A classic woody that is still in superb shape and is as out of control as ever. The -Gs on the dubble dip are the best on any coaster that Ive ridden. That is the -Gs at one time. But for a coaster that has -Gs the whole ride that would be Screamin Eagle. This a classic that is in superb shape and still a top ten after 80 years.
One of the best and Kennywood certainly takes excellent care of this baby! Short but FUN! The trains are a true blast from the past! It doesnt look like much, but dont pass this one by- hop on and get ready for major AIR TIME on the double-down.
Great coaster but i dont love it that much.I like all of the other coasters at kennywood better than it.
Another unique old woodie at Kennywood. The double dip is nothing short of terrifying with the way the train tosses you out of your seat.
Great classic woodie, what else would you expect from John A. Miller?
Excellent little ride, nice double dip taken at high speed like after the third turn on the Comet at GE. neat seats and restraining system. faithful to the original intent through and through.
The Jack Rabbit is one of the best old wooden coasters on the planet. This coaster is old fashioned in every sense. From little or no restaints to the hand brake in the station. The natural terrain makes this coaster. The double dip into the natural ravine and almost dangerous feel of the ride make for a great experience. They dont make them like this anymore. Our family loved this coaster.
One of my all-time favorite classic woodies. The double dip is insane!
