jeez this was fun! i love how it races and i think its cool how the trains are on steel track but everything else is wood. i love the bunnyhops and the airtime. great coaster!
I love the Gemini. For a wooden coaster it is suprisingly smooth. The hills are great. A great touch to the coaster is that there are two different trains racing each other. There must be, or it would be kind of silly to name it Gemini.
good ride, faster than i thought it would be, i like the bunny hills (does the red train ever win????)
Overall, I had a great time on this coaster, but whenever I see these wood-framed steel coasters, I always ask myself, "why didnt they go wood all the way?" However, its still a lot of fun.
Gemini is a fun racing coaster with a couple good moments of airtime and a few good opportunities to slap hands with the riders in the train racing against you. Its not too tall, and the speed isnt overwhelming, but it is a fun coaster and one that I could ride over and over and never get tired of.
Gemini is a lot of fun. It has many things which make it so great- headchoppers, airtime, the fact that its racing, and the helix. Its a high capacity ride so you wont wait much for it either, which makes it all the better.
Strong ride with some great air. But the real killer to this ride is that it lacked in intensity so bad, the drops were good, but the turns were a bit of a bore. But I will say this it was very smooth for an arrow.
I love Gemini. The 2 trains race and at one point come close enough to slap hands with the other train. The beams make you question if you should leave your hands up or not. The racing adds a air of competition to the ride. Even if your not keen on the ride intensity wise the competition will get you. For a wooden ride its very smooth so you dont leave wondering if you left your butt in the seat.
This is a fantastic ride and is a thrill from start to finish, if not from the ride itself then from the competition of the racing trains. Its a nice break from the other huge rides and actually has a very exciting layout. My favorite part was definately the helix at the end on the blue train which was unbraked almost every time. Dont overlook this ride, its a blast!
UPDATE: Dropped from a 10 to an 8 after taking a second trip to the park. Not really sure how to explain why, but the ride seemed signifigantly less entertaining. Although, its still a well made ride.
This ride was soooooo much fun.....I just got back from my trip to CP with some of my friends. We rode the ride like 10 times while we were there. We raced, everytime. Me and M311ton were blue, Demon Rules and Condorman were Red. We won everytime, becuz there is no trim on the blue side before the last helix. Back to the ride, this just has a great layout. It is smooth as glass, has good airtime, some freakishly low head choppers and a nice first drop. Plus it has the best finale of any coast Ive been on. The unbraked helix at the end is amazing. I loved this ride and it has got to be one of the most underrated rides on this site. O and by the way......BLUE ROCKS.........and if anyone goes there soon and orders from the happy friar anytime soon, say hi to sergey for me......BLUE ROCKS
