Ummmmm this one is hard to rate, i mean i liked some aspects of it, and i disliked some too. I likes the big drops and the racing aspect, but i didnt like some parts where it got a little bumpy and i didnt like the slow turnss...but it was a good ride, i guess i expected a little more out of it...
Was and still is a great ride. The line moves so fast. Its just a great coaster for everyone. Every time I go to CP Im glad its still there.
Wood on the outside, Steel on the inside. Either way it is still a great ride. Some people say that it beats you up. Now, it isnt some two year old steel coaster. Compared to other coasters,(mostly wooden) it really isnt that rough of a ride. Anyway, the best part about the Gemini is the air time.(sit in the back!)
Its not bad. Its smoother than Kings Islands racers, but its shorter and taller. Its missing the big air that you get from the racers too.
This ride is so much fun!Its smooth and competitive and you get so much air time and that feeling in your stomach! Its certainly a classic, and will always be one of my favorites. (by the way, blue train wins majority)
This coaster hurts. Something about it never rubs me the right way. Too uncomfortable. Maybe it just isnt made for a guy whos 63", I dunno. Anyway, I know the history behind her and I like the design, hence, a "7". The line is seems to always be short, too.
One of the all time best coasters. I remember when it was new, I think it was the coaster that really started to put cedar point on the map as a coaster park. Now its pretty tame, but still fun. It also is one of the fastest lines ever. Great ride. I have started to notice a little roughness depending on when you ride it. I rode during the day in Aug and it was quite painful, but at night in Oct and it was really fun. Still a great ride with amazing capacity.
I rode it durring the 25th anniversary year. The ride op said "enjoy your ride on the record breaking Gemini." This ride must had been something back in the day. Its still a good ride, but the helix at the end was a bit rough.
This was a good coaster. I wasnt expecting the coaster to have steel tracks, so I was a much smoother ride. The ride gave some great air time, and the racing part was really good. The only bad part was the helix at the end. The turn was way to sharp and I went slamming into the side of the train which was sort of painful. Other than that, its a good ride, especially because of its age.
Just wondering though, didnt one of the trains on here go backwards at some time in the past???
Gemini is my baby. I love everything about this coaster. First of all the line is always moving and the fact that they have two tracks is a good reason why. I love the smoothness of Gemini, considering its age I think its in wonderful shape. The first hill is awsome. Great airtime and the headchopper effect always makes me pull my hands down. Its a true racing coaster and it just adds a special element to the ride when you get to race another train up and down the hills. Great coaster and lots of fun.
