The scenery, ride, and theming are good. However, a great water ride should get you wet and this does not do a good job of that. I dont quite get it, it seems that this park does not want you to get too wet on any water rides. This would be alright if the park was in the Arctic, but since it is in Virginia, I dont think a good drenching would be the end of the world.

Le Scoot is a log flume. It is average speed, fun, rerideable, it has a large capacity, and a long duration.Pretty good scenery. A good way to cool off on a hot day.

I would say this is an average log flume at best. It barely gets you wet at all, which is a big disappointment on a hot day! The theming and setting saves the rating, IMO

The Le Scoot log flume is a solid log flume that cant compete with more heavily themed rides (mainly Dudley Do-Right at IoA), but is a solid ride in its own right. After ascending the lift hill, you wind you the familiar twists and bends characteristic of the genre. Following this leisurely cruise, you descend one fairly small drop and head towards the shack that houses the main drop at the end. After climbing up to the level of this drop, you enter the shed and head towards a wooden, rotating ciccular saw blade, which doesnt look threatening but adds to the atmosphere. I was actually pretty impressed with the drop, not as good as Dudleys, but good fun nonetheless. The biggest thing this ride is missing is theming, of which there is very little. A good choice for families, this ride can appeal to everyone and get you wet without getting you soaked.

Pretty good scenery and drop, but the ride is SHORT. It is a good way to get wet.

Very nice log flume that makes good use of terrain. Its pretty standard fare, which means that most of the ride just meanders along. Oh well, you cant get a Splash Mountain every time! The ride operators around the ride are amusing as well. Watch for the long lines!!!

The drop has that cool saw on it which makes it better than most flumes. Maybe one day this ride will get a face lift but for now, it will do.

A very decent, if not a little better than decent, log flume. This one is better than the one at Paramounts Kings Dominion about 2 hours way. But anyways: Start off going up a fairly large rubber lift hill. Go down a few dips no taller than 10 feet. The one thing about this ride that I like is that the turns are very high up. Its a tad bit freaky, because at some parts you are higher than 50 feet in the air....after a relaxing ride, then comes the cutting shed. Above the drop is a saw, it creates a very cheesy effect of your plastic log getting cut in half vertically. Then there is the drop, its not bad, its definately big. The track straightens out and above you is the track to Alpengeist, if your lucky enough, a train will fly by.

I think that Lin48 a few reviews down expressed my opinion more conscisely than I will be able to. Le Scoot starts off with a monsterous compared to most other flumes, only to fizzle out in my opinion. The turns were really, really high, which was kind of cool for the "am I going to plummet to my death?" kind of feeling. But, all it had was a couple of turns, a pair of little dips, and then the final drop. The final drop was quite a rush, with major height and speed, but it didnt get me soaked, or even wet really. While that holds true for a lot of old Arrow log flumes, and Im not a big fan of getting drenched, especially since it was about 60 degrees outside, but a good soaking is essential to a successful log flume, so only the decent themeing, height, speed and setting help this to acquire a six as opposed to a four or five. Still fun, but I wouldnt wait more than 10-15 minutes for it.
