Belmonts tilt-a-whirl was one of my better tilt-a-whirl experiences, and I am a big fan of this type of flat ride. There were three notable things about this one. First, the spinning was nonstop. We spun to the left for a while, then to the right for a really long time, and then finished up the ride spinning to the left again. Second, although the spinning was constant, it never achieved the pin-your-head-to-the-wall force that you get every now and then on a good tilt-a-whirl spin. It may have been nice to have a few moments of this, but there was already so much spinning going on that I actually didnt miss it. Finally, this was the longest tilt-a-whirl ride EVER! It just kept going and going! Fantastic. Thats what I paid my money for.
Ahhh, the tilt a whirl. To me, its a staple that every park should have. Who doesnt love a spin on it? Well, dancinjohn didnt but
This tilt a whirl was in prime condition. The tracks were very well oiled and the engine spun at the perfect rate. You got a very long ride - worth the price of 4 tickets and the spinning is insane. There were quite a few times on this when my head was pressed against the seat and I couldnt move! This never happens at my homepark elitchs. I was laughing extremely hard even without the extra weight of other riders (I was riding alone) I cant imagine how fun this would be with multiple riders...
Classic spinning ride. More of a carnival ride. Not much to say about this ride. Avarage. WARNING: May Cause Nausea.
I always liked the Tilt-a-Whirl, no matter what park or carnival it is in. The more people you can cram into the car the more wild a ride you will get. Lots of fun, but ride this one on an empty stomach.
Made me sick, so if you dont like to be spun around, dont go on.
Its a fun and long-lasting ride. : /
