Words cannot describe how much this ride has grown on me these past few years. The first drop is now the only moment in a ride which still gives me that wonderful "butterfly" feeling in my stomach that I had when I was a kid. The layout is so intense and nonstop, with my personal favorite elements being the wing-over corkscrews and the inline twist. The helix at the end it just the best way to cap off such an intense and disorienting ride. Really a must ride for any enthusiast and one of the best B&M inverts out there.

A great ride with lots of fun elements. Surprisingly smooth, with a bit of headbanging at times. I always look forward to a lot of re-rides on this.

Awesome B & M coaster with almost every element imaginable on it. If you like Batman the Ride, you will love Raptor. They are similar, but Raptor is higher, faster and longer with intense spiraling helixes at the end. This ride really packs a punch and if it wasnt for a few trim brakes, would never let up. You can definitely Kick the Sky on this thrill of a coaster. This coaster is a must-ride and well-deserving of all the awards and recognition it has recieved over the years.

This is a great inverted coaster, one of the best. It has a ton of elements, and is pretty long for its type. It seems as though CP has turned off the mid course breaks recently, as the finishing moves (especially the helix) are intense.

The way to truely enjoy this ride is to ride at night! Disorienting to say the least ; ). Its a trip during the day too, but best at night. The g inducing break turn at the end is a perfect cap.

Tons of fun, still very smooth even after all of these years. The helix had me seeing stars, but in a good way. Definately still top 10 material.

Great inverted, but can be pretty rough, lots of force, and does a lot of neat tricks.

Im usually not a really big fan of these inverts, but this one is a real standout. On previous days this ride had a really long wait. But with my card from hotel breakers, I was let into the park early. I headed straight to raptor. I walked into the station and walked into the front row. Our train was sent out of the station and slowly cranked up the lift hill. Our train then flew down the first drop, giving me a surprising amount of airtime. After that we went through a ton of disorienting inversions. I loved the first loop followed by the Barrel roll thing. It was great from the front. You could see the track twisting in front of you. After that you go through a cobra roll and hit the mid course brakes. You then go through a little corckscrew and start heading towards the station. The only bad part is the final helix. It was a little rough. I dont know how it would be from the back though. This is my 3rd favorite invert with montu and DD ice in front of it. All in All a very good ride. Id sugest that you sit up in front... you can kick the sky!! LOL

totally awesome roller coaster!! i love this coaster, and plus, it was my first ride of the day. i mean, its a pretty tough decision when you see the top thrill dragster just screaming your name as it stands 420ft in the air, yet its hard to not heed the calling of the raptor as its bright green track screams "ride me" and since its a spit throw away, i rode it first! i was very pleased and my head didnt hit the restraints at all!! awesome awesome ride.

Raptor is such an awesome ride... At Cedar Point, they really make you nevous in line for roller coasters, mostly by surrounding the entire queue line with track so people are screaming past you every few seconds! (The worse thing you can do is eat at the food court near it, because part of the track goes right overhead and you think people are gonna throw up on you, then you cant eat your $10.00 burgers.) Imagine my surprise when I was seven and the biggest coaster I had ever been on was Magnum, but I had only gone upside down on the corkscrew, and my cuzin wanted to ride Raptor first thing! Wow, I was so scared, but I tried to act like I wasnt. Afterwards, we ended up riding it 10 times, I think. I was too dizzy to remember for days. As was said before, Raptor is non stop. At one point, your car comes up on a platform and slows down, but then it shoots back down a hill and you keep going! It really is a rush. The barrel rolls are my favorite part, cuz you cant tell when theyre coming. It just looks like another piece of the track, when its really upside down. Definately a great coaster, prolly the best on there that hasnt tried way to hard to break a record. (Dont get me wrong, I like Millenium, Magnum, Dragster, Mean Streak, Mantis, Blue Streak, Gemini, well, u get the point.) Its a quality coaster and youll want to do it again and again.
