It would be better for the park to have an antique carousel, much like Palace Playland used to have. That is one of the things this park lacks. However, they have a chance fibreglass carousel, like the new one Palace Playland has now. They have a Stinson Band Organ which is a good instrument, but you can tell is has not been maintained in a while. The drums and cymbal doesn't function, it's out of tune, and many of the notes aren't playable. They should look into repairing. It sounded great ten years ago. Not anymore.

A fine carousel. Good variety in figures, and certainly attractive. It is good to see that while the park does not have an antique carousel they saw fit to invest in a band organ, which is always a good move and always enhances carousel rides. As always, good with children and adults with an open mind.

The Classic Carousel at Funtown U.S.A., is a decent carousel, and a wonderful ride. Funtowns Classic Carousel, was built by Chance. This ride is located in the area to the left of the park entrance, and you can hear the organs loud, infectious tune, when you get close to the marvelous carousel. Funtowns Classic Carousel, is in excellent condition, and well-kept. The horses, are very clean, and have excellent detail. My favorite animal to ride on is the teal dragon. They even have a bunny for you to ride on. The chariots are comfortable, and they are incredibly detailed. Funtowns organ is new, and loud. They did a great job, making a small organ, next to the ride, that plays the music. At night, the Classic Carousel is beautiful. The dazzling array of bright lights, is breath-taking. The Classic Carousel is always a walk-on. You can choose your horse. Unfortunately, the horses are made of fiberglass, and have velco straps, to secure you. The golden poles glisten, and they are clean. Funtown loads the carousel quickly, and runs the ride for a very long time. Overall, the Classic Carousel is a decent, modern-day carousel. I recommend this ride to everyone, but children will highly enjoy this ride.

though im not really a fan of this carousel, it is nice. I prefer old fashoned ones, but i think for a newer ride, this one is quite pretty. The lights add a great effect, there are mirrors, both moving and stationary horses, great(ly annoying) music and some good ride time.

A truly terrible carousel. Many horses looked ugly and awkward, the lights were almost never on, and the protective covering to keep out rang hung down, making the carousel look very shoddy indeed. The excellent Stinson organ might have saved the carousel from a one rating, but the building on the carousel had the part that pulls down to keep vandals out hanging diagonally downwards at an unusual angle. THis carousel is the worst I have ever seen!

I like this carousel. The organ is great, and pretty loud. Its always playing before the park opens and can be heard from the parking lot. I also like all the lights on the inside and out, it gives it a classic feel.

This is a very bellow average carousel. The fiberglass horses aren’t that good and the low ceiling makes even a short person feel a bit claustrophobic. Gets some points back for the fantastic band organ providing music for the ride.

i cant bring my self to give a carousel any thing lower then a five but i relly dont like this one i dosent look that good and with the celings it feels like your going to hit your head if your on a jumper
