WOW! Thats all I can Say about this Ride....Plain and Simple
I remember when Millennium Force was first announced, it looked like a monster.
I remember the wait in line for the ride, it really built up the anticipation, seeing the trains come and go and climb up the tall 305 foot tall hill. The fly by of the station also added to it.
I remember getting into the train and buckling up and getting the lap bar set. Before I knew it, we were off, the Elevator Cable had come down and connected to the train. We then began the steep ascent, which takes close to only 20 seconds to climb. Once at the top, we peaked over the steep (80 degree) 300 foot drop, we suddenly were rushed down it, going 93 miles per hour into a 120 degree bank. From here we went through 2 tunnels, several overbanked turns and several hills with airtime.
Toward the end of the ride, we did a quick fly by the station, which was exhilirating before a quick and sudden turn back into the station.
All I can say is that this ride is a TRUE Master Piece, definately the BEST Rollercoaster Ever Built. Intamin & Cedar Point are genius for bringing this coaster into being.

The Millennium Force has been my no. 1 favorite for 2 yrs. Millennium Force is a very great & good coaster to ride again & again. It have good airtime to it. The speed is a good adrenline rush. This coaster is so good that I have a blast & I do the drumroe on it. The course, turns, Tunnels & the ride length is very good. Very exhillarating. A great way to unwind after hard digging at work is to ride the Millennium Force. The best coaster there is around.
This coaster deserves a ten. Incredible first drop, just amazing. Has great speed throughout, and never really loses its momentum. More hills would be nice, but I am not going to complain. As close to perfect as you can get.
Oh man when I first saw Millennium Force in May of 2000 I was sooo scared to go on it. I came back later that year and promised myself I would go on it and I was placed in the second to last seat with some lady I had never seen before. But let me tell you...it became my #1 favorite ride ever. The first drop is completely breathtaking and since it is a steel rollar coaster, the ride is super smooth and fast.
I just went to Cedar Point last Friday and I went on MF for the 6th time and only waited about an hour to get on the 2nd to front seat. Greatest ride Cedar Point has built so far.
Its just the best ride Ive ever been on. Period. No, I didnt ride TTD because it was broken down when I went to Cedar Point this summer, but this is just coaster bliss. The lift pulls you up at a remarkable pace, and you can just look out over the seemingly endless expanse of Lake Erie on your left. Then the first drop, and man, is it a killer. You get pulled over the crest of the lift giving a bit of floater air as you just fall to the earth. This is where those amazing Intamin giga-trains definitely are at there best. They run soooo smooth, and dont have too many restraints holding you in, so you have just a great unobstructed feeling. Then for the first tunnel, which you just blast on through in almost no time at all. Out in the back of the ride, you have the first camel, giving you some air, but that just pulls you back down into the valley into a couple heavy overbanks and low to the ground curves. And that isnt even teh best part of the ride. You come then into the much shorter second camel, which takes you right over the stream and back into the second pitch black tunnel, and into the last and best bunny hop that gives you the best air on the entire ride as you pump through that hill and into the straight track leading into the last overbank. But the key to this ride is too ride it at night. Its just so much more amazing and spectacular. When I was at CP I rode it 7 times, and we were lucky enough to ride it in the fog. The top half of the lift was covered in white, and the first drop is just an awesome plunge as you cant even see the ground.
I visited Cedar Point in search of the ultimate thrill...and this ride is it! The first drop is unbelievable. You seriously feel like you will just fall right out of your seat. The overbanked turn is amazing, and the speed at that point of the ride is incredible. The tunnel is fast and fun and the huge third hill has some nice negative g-forces at the top. The twister portion of the ride on the island is great, and the speed never gives up throughout that part of the coaster. The two bunny hops that follow give some nice airtime and the tunnel in between them is dark and exciting. The final overbanked turn is just as fun as the others and the brake run stops the coaster immediately. Millennium Force is amazing, easily one of the best roller coaster I have ever ridden. Overall, Millennium Force is a very powerful, a very fast, and a very thrilling roller coaster that will surely leave you in awe.
After years upon years of seeing Cedar Point on the TV and all the wonderful coasters they had i finally talked my mom into brining me to the park. Before we went i went online and saw the Mellenium Force and i was so excited. After a seven hour drive we finally got to CP. Comming twards the park i saw coasters and rides and then i saw Mellenium Force. After we checked into the hotel i just about ran to the park gate. We got into the park and saw Millenium Force and stood in awe at its massive 310 foot lift hill. Then we saw the line and decided we would wait until later that night. That night we hopped in line and waited for about an hour and a half (had to ride in the front of course). Finally we got in the train and started up the lift hill with sweaty palms. The veiw on the way up the hill was just amazing should you have time to think about it instead of being scared. We got to the top and went over the hill on the way down i pulled a muscle in my foot from trying to plant myself in the seat so much. The drop is amazing. The ride was all over and we got off the train. On the way to our next ride my brother showed me the 3 mosquitos that were splattered upon his shirt. We talked about the ride all the way to the line of the next coaster and through the line. Millenium Force is a MUST RIDE coaster with such a smooth ride and great first drop. It alone was deffinitly worth the 7 hour drive. Sorry for the lenthy review but im going back to CP in about 3 weeks and im really excited. :-d
This drop was one of the nest I have EVER been on. Gotta love the airtime, and, of course, the speed. Only a 20min wait for it. I would do anything to have this in my backyard. I dont really like the way it ended. Overall, excellent.
The height of grace. A landmark coaster that, to my mind, marked the beginning of the gigacoaster possibilities. I think that the greatest potentials in steel technology are incredible speed and ice-like flow. Loops can be fun, but speed and flow are spiritual. For me, this ride is the best overall. The Beast (Paramounts Kings Island) at night remains my favorite. Millenium Force enjoys Lake Erie as a breathtaking backdrop. However, the Beast is perfectly coordinated with the woods. Best ride ever at night, especially train #3 (a bit faster).
the drop is awseome there is so much air time and the wait in line goes really fast i also enjoy the elevator lift hill. it is very smooth and the speed and the drop is so intense
