I would have to say that it is a little better than your average pirate ship ride, but so are most of the flats in the park, which seemed to be slightly sooped up versions of park favorites. At times it almost felt as if you were going to take a full loop like the Looping Starship @ SFOG. Very intense and full of airtime.

Unlike the other reviews, I thought that the Pirate Ship was fairly weak. The ship didnt swing as much as most others do, and there wasnt much weigthlessness. Overall, not that I am a huge fan of Swinging Ships, this one was pretty bad. Unfortunatley, Visionland is full of mediocre-at-best flats, so this park needs help.

This ride is just your average pendalum, I didnt find anything better about it than the others.

I have not riden a pirate ship that throws you out this much.
