Roman Rapids is a poorly designed rapids ride. The only chance you have to get wet is if you get caught under the waterfalls, which I managed to avoid. I was nervous at first because they would not let us leave things on the station, but no need to worry after all, I didnt get wet and actually used the mild ride as an opprotunity to photograph Apollos. I should be scared to bring an expensive camera on a water ride, but I considered reriding in hopes of getting more photos, now that is sad The setting is cool and there is some nice themeing here and there, but overall, its a rapids ride, and they are generally the ones that get you wet the most, but I came off of this one dry as a log in a bonfire. In the end though, this is the weakest rapids ride I have been on, and only the scenery, location and pretty brisk pace save it from a 1.

A rather refreshing water ride. I like the fact that people can squirt you as you go by on one part. All of those random dips really help "rock the boat". I always enjoy the little bit of scenery that they supplied you with on the ride, the Roman statues and such. Overall, very fun ride. Gotta love those water falls! Yet another ride I had the honor of running.

This ride was not that good. First, the loading station has no theme to the ride, and second, there is no drop. Every river rapids ride has to have a drop. But no, does this one have it? I think not. Your best bet is to skip this and ride its neighbor, Apollos Chariot :thumbsup:.

The queue for this ride was nothing more then a no themed load station. The ride wasnt much better. All I remember was it is very short and the wall you go past that has the water spouts that squirt water every so many feet. Didnt even get that wet on this ride.

Well i dont really remember this ride at ALL. And that is a bad thing because i have a good memory, and if this ride isnt even good enough for me to remember then it must be bad. All i do remember is that it was short and barely got me wet, and that is everything a rafting ride shouldnt be.

Boring, boring, boring...

The line for this ride was horrible and te ride was over before it began! Im giving it a four just because it had good theming

Not a very good rafting ride. I waited on an hour long line on a very hot day just to get a little bit wet and one of the shortest rafting rides ive ever been on. There were a few parts where you got wet and there was a very good view of apollos chariot while riding Roman Rapids.

Good ride great for a hot VA day. The sideline shooters can make the ride very refreshing too.

I liked this ride a lot. Sometimes I like gettin wet...other times I dont. Luckily I was in the mood to get wet when I rode it...so it gets a high rating.
