Pompeii was one of my first water rides, and it was really fun. For that I give it a 9, otherwise I mayve given it a 7. The burning scenery was cool, but it was kind of short. The drop was great, though. Journey to Atlantis at Sea World Fl (same people running it) is better though.

One of the best River Raft rides out there! The fire effects are awesome. The boat just cruises around. Columns threaten to fall on your boat. Then the curtains open, and wham! Your boat smoothly falls out of the building making a huge splash. To me, there is no other ride like it out there. Overall, the effects, the drop, the splash, and the themeing are just awesome! Also has crystal clear water. Always a plus besides having murky, crappy water on you.

I think this is a cool water ride. The best part is the big drop at the end. Even though it isnt HUGE, it still brings excitement and suspense to yourself everytime u ride it. The theme is also awesome.

This was my first big water ride. The effects are great and the ride itself is too. I love the theme are all the surroundings. Never too long of a line either. Also great on a hot summer day.

A very creative river ride with some of the best theming in the park. Its loaded with hidden details, like when you climb the lift hill, look down and youll see a guy crushed by a boulder:uhoh:Anyway, the fire in the building is amazing:fire:and I love the statues burning, falling, and breaking. And the drop gets you wet too!

Should I be impressed? Sure this ride was nice with some cool theming but ride seriously needs some length. 30 seconds inside a building with fire isnt enough. I enjoyed the splash and everything but I think this ride is overrated.

this is the epitome of river-raft rides. first it heats you up with the best themeing i think i have ever seen on a ride, just about anywhere! I love the fire up above (if u havent riden it yet, do it and ull know what i mean!! ull love it too!) and then it cools you off! you WILL get wet, trust me on that one!

This is way overrated. For some reason, just about everything this park builds gets standing ovation. With rides like Alpengeist, its deserved, but this, no. I mean, its better than Shipwreck Falls and Diamond Falls, but you spend almost no time in the building so it isnt really that thrilling.

Moderate wetness...just as short as any other water ride

Effects were so-so, the heat from the fire was cool. Worth a ride.
