This ride is such a rush. I say that the front row is the best place to sit on this ride. The themeing for the ride was also impressive. They won an award for best ride themeing its first year. Once again, quite a thrill!
Out of all the coasters at this park, this was the one I had always been so excited about going on (after watching countless Travel/Discovery channel specials on the place). I dont know if it was the name of the ride or the color of it, but...it sounded cool and it was pretty cool. I rode it a few times when we went, a few times in the middle area and once in the back. I have to say, this coaster is fast and rough (its ESPECIALLY rough in the very back, but whos surprised?). I got boxed! It was fun, yet not my favorite at BG: Williamsburg.
WOW!!! This ride was soooooooooo awesome! Great speed and elements! This ride had a tonnnnnn of flips and all of them smooth(except for the last corkscrew but hey!
). The first drop getting up to speed was too cool. You dont feel youre going so fast until you hit the first inversion! This coaster is one of my favorites!
My favorite B&M invert so far! Its got lots of great elements and offers a pretty smooth ride. As in any invert, the front is the best seat!
WOW! Great pace the entire ride. Love the front right seat, since there is nothing between you and the ground. I have ridden Batman: The Ride @ SFOG and Raptor @ Cedar Point, but there is no comparison. I know these three coasters share some of the same elements, but Alpengeist does it bigger and faster. I dont need to go into great detail to tell you about this ride. All I am going to say, "If you like inverts (especially B&M) this is the ride for you, and you need to go ride it!".
i really think this a great ride. I had to take a point off for two moments, one in between the two inversions of the cobra roll, and the second when youre entering the midcourse, which are rough.
What a great 1,2 B&M coaster punch BGW has with this and Apollos Chariot! The smooth, elegant, airtime-filled Chariot contrasts very well with the aggresive, force-filled Alpengeist. The scale of the looping elements of this ride are unthinkable until ridden. It just bewilders me how amazing this coaster is. Easily the best invert Ive ever ridden!
The Alpengeist was a fun coaster none the less but it wasnt as good as I expected. After riding once, I had no want to ride again. Of all the rides Ive ridden, the Alpengeist was quite disorienting. As for an inverted coaster, I really liked the Raptor at Cedar Point.
This is about as cool of an inverted coaster as anyone can ride on. One of the coolest things about it is how it is not like most coasters that go upside-down in how it goes through the immuelman first, then a loop. All of the other inversions are cool too, but the immuelman is the beat part about this ride.
A spectacular Invert, not to mention the great theming, it is incredibly intense, fast and usually runs very smooth. It easily makes my top 10 rides, although it doesnt have the overall fear factor. A must ride for any coaster fan,
