its cool, and its higher than u think
This is a decent ride, and the wait is never really too long because they load and unload quickly so thats a good thing. It goes up really quick then you hear a loud noise and you drop, and then you go forward and brake then slide down back into the station, nothing special but it isnt crappy either, that drop was a pretty good drop.
Interesting old style free fall ride. Describing it sounds like an "old timer" complaining about the "youngins" and modern amusement parks... "Why in my day we didnt have no fancy drop towers. We just strapped our selves to a chair, had someone push us out a window, and then rolled to a stop when we hit the ground." That pretty much describes "Freefall". Intentional or not (probably not) the lound clanking and "industrial look" of the tower actually adds something to this contraption.
You feel as if you are going to come off the track at the end and end up in the building in front of you .That freaks me out. I was actually more scared of this ride then any of the other rides in the park. Great drop but a bit rough coming down the tower.
I love this ride, though sometimes I am scared because of the previous accidents
This ride is so much fun. The lift is suprisingly fast and the drop is awesome. I also like how this ride seems so unsafe and old. That adds to the anticipation. It is kind of short (-1) and the breaks are a little rough (-1). Great walk-on.
Heres a Great Adventure classic. I always resented the "Stuntmans" title slapped on to the name to fit the Movietown theme... to me its still plain old Freefall! Not the greatest thrill anymore but well worth it for the ol Quarter Trick. Place a quarter (or any coin) on each knee as you reach the top. When you drop the quarters will float in front of your face. Still cool!
This is a great freefall ride but is a little bumpy at the end. Cant compare to Disneys TOT, but it is still a good ride.
The drop is fast but there is a lot of head banging.
Fun little freefall ride which will actually get you scared even though it isnt massive. Obviously the Turbo Drops/Space Shots by S&S are much better, but thats just in a different class. Watch out after the drop; its pretty rough.
