Freakishly scary in the front seat as it feels, and looks like you are going right off the side. APPEARANCE-1 These are ugly anyway and then with the outdated sign and sitting in a dead grass field, in Angola, the list could go on but you get the idea. CAPACITY-1 You walk the stairs, sit down and they are in no rush, again there are very few people here, but the operation is very slow. RIDE QUALITY-3 For this style ride I actually found it to be better then the one at Blackpool. it looks worse but rides better. FUN-3 Again as a seasoned coaster rider that fear is a rare occurance and it is flat out scary in the front. RERIDE-2 Joe or Larry only get the reride, but for 2.00 its a credit more people should get. OVERALL-10 AVG-2.0 Nice fun coaster and still the only looping coaster in Indiana.

Fun Arrow launched loop that was the prototype. The climb up to the loading platform on these is never fun, but the ride was decent. The drop wasnt that good on this one, but the vertical loop was smooth and gave some decent hangtime on this one. The backwards part was the same, but still this wasnt the best launched loop out there.

Very fun ride, a good time at a fun small park. How can you beat an arrow shuttle? its tough!

The Afterburner is a steel sit down roller coaster with 2 inversions (shuttle). It was built by Arrow in 1977, relocated in 1991. It is 50' tall, 635' long. The ride is fun , rerideable, it has a large capacity, and a long duration. They serve very good food and have reasonable prices.

After climbing the 6 flights (or was it 4? It felt like 8.) to the launch area, we battled vertigo and heatstroke. The train sat sitting in the station faded and looking like it was one of the first coaster trains ever built. Apparently this ride was the original Arrow prototype for their shuttle loop - except that, when it originally operated, guests were whisked to the launch platform by elevator. THERE WAS A REASON FOR THE ELEVATOR AND IT WAS NOT LUXURY. We got in the train and were cable launched into the loop. I felt very nauseous on this looper. I think I have become accustomed to the high velocity entry into loops that make them fun. This ride kind of nudged you into it and seemed to be in "loop" mode for an excessive amount of time. The major attraction of this ride is simply seeing what a huge contraption it is and seeing how far coaster technology has come in 25 years.

Good ride, definatly fun and my favorite thing to do at Fun Spot. I wish they didnt bother with having to check all the restraints on the far end of the coaster before sending you back down. I do like this little park I sincerely hope that they build a nice woodie in the next few years I think it would make a huge difference.
